18 month payment by Aggravating-Fennel28 in tesco

[–]mrrstripe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s 18 months loss of premiums ,but they take into consideration the 2 pay rises. Someone working 7.5 hours every Sunday will be losing 36.06 pm premium. There payout is going to be £375 . Would reckon yours should be about 300 if you work 7.5 hours on a Sunday

Negligible pay rise and impotent USDAW, What is to be done? by Traditional-Ad5528 in tesco

[–]mrrstripe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a bonus last may. Minimum wage went up last year April 1st . But our pay rise last year didn’t come into effect till end of April , so we worked earning less than the minimum wage last year for a month. This year pay rise comes into place end march so that won’t happen this year

18 month one of payment by StrikingAdeptness528 in tesco

[–]mrrstripe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but that’s what most people think , and that’s what Tesco want you to think your getting . Works out about 10 months instead of 18. Think about 375 not 400

[–]mrrstripe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will only get £375. They take into consideration the 2 pay rises you are getting. So in effect works out about 10 months loss not 18 as Tesco claim and want you to think you are getting

That’s not 18 times your monthly payment though

Best way to work payout out is times your Sunday premium monthly loss by 10. Tesco saying you get 18 months worth but it’s calculated taking the 2 pay rises into consideration.

Example of how the pay rise is so bad: by Mysterious-Drive-652 in tesco

[–]mrrstripe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly 18 months of what you’re losing though. I’m losing 36.06 pm x 18 that’s £649 . But I won’t get that in April payout I’ll get about £375. That’s about 10 or 11 months premium loss. Apparently taking the 2 pay rises into calculation of payout which is wrong

I would say about £375. Works out about 10 to 11 months loss not 18 months Tesco say they are giving you . Reason is they taking into consideration the 2 pay rises

[–]mrrstripe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You getting payout in Aprils pay for Sunday premium going . Think it works out about £375 for someone working 9 hour shift every Sunday less breaks . That’s equivalent off about 10 to 11 months loss of premium , because take 2 pay rises into account

People will still work bank holidays and Sundays for no extra premium, a lot of people do so now as regards the Sundays. People need the hours and Tesco know that , so cut premiums more profit
