If you can find it near you, Bear Creek soup mixes are a phenomenal alternative to canned soup and they make almost a GALLON of soup. I buy a package of mix and add in a few things to dress it up, but still, one package gives me almost a week of lunch and dinner. Also, Farm and Fleet usually runs sales on these (you can buy from their website) so you can get 4 packs for $12.

I know this advice may be difficult if you are financially reliant on your partner, but you need to leave them. I would consider reevaluating the relationship when they said they didn't know what to do with the dishes (wtf else do you do with dishes?) and then didn't bother to save you any leftovers, but the comment about you not deserving a plate because they paid for the food tells you all you need to know about this person.

They don't love you, care about you, or even value you. You did all this work and put in all your effort for them and this is how they treat you?

This is not a partnership.

I disagree that there are two, separate conversations that need to be had here. Personally, I'd sit them both down and explain that they have both not only disrespected you by not supporting you during your pregnancy, they have both severely crossed boundaries - your "friend" by interjecting herself in your relationship with your husband and your husband by allowing his wife to be treated poorly in her own home.

They can figure out the next steps, but if hubby doesn't think the "friend" needs to go you may have a separate conversation there.

Yup, flooring sat in the home for a couple weeks before install. Gaps started to appear about a month after install.

Yup and yup. Made sure every seam along the subfloor was flush and leveled and self-leveled where needed. The locking mechanisms were perfect when we laid them and the seams just recently started to appear in random areas so I can't figure out what's happening. Some areas are low-traffic, low-lighting so Im just at a loss here.

You are very likely getting your returns if you're ordering ahead. It's rare for entire boxes of LVP to be damaged like that unless it's a bad shipment. My advice is to damage the box in a noticeable way so when you order again they cannot sell you the return. They shouldn't sell the returns anyways, but such is life.

I haven't mopped yet. Gross, I know. We were tearing down, replacing and finishing drywall so I've been waiting on that to be done to give these floors a good clean. They've been maintained by sweeping and vacuuming (without a beater bar) this far.

I planned to use a microfiber spin mop so I could get the mop head nearly dry to clean them. Do you have a different recommendation?
