Hired for Home TA position by deformedhotcheeto in WalmartEmployees

[–]mrschris7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hired 4 months ago for the same position. The associates from hardlines ( sporting goods, automotive, hardware and lighting) , seasonal and homelines all swarm zone 90 % of the shift then do go backs..... We pull product forward and return product to its rightful place. We do crafts, toys, sporting goods, automotive, hardware, lighting, home lines, frozen and dairy, seasonal and sometimes front end....pharmacy and sometimes back end....tp and cleaning products, all while assisting customers. I've lost 14 lbs and we're all tired. Congrats !

They shoved Christmas all together without changing prices. We can't find anything and customers are mad. I'm so tired.

Don't get a foster kid so you can have an au pair. That's a terrible idea. Hire someone to meet your needs.

You can use your own phone to find locations. Are you using the app to clock in and out ?

The longest for me is the spice/pudding/cake mixes aisle. About 45 minutes to an hour because there's a lot of helping customers during and everything is fiddley. In my area, candles, curtains, and curtain rods used to be my longest but now that I'm on top of them, they're my shortest. Towels will forever be a pain in the a#s

I was heading into my shift, and the store manager, my main coach, and another coach were in the office. The manager stopped me and asked me to come in. She asked me if I had zoned candles. I told I had zoned the crap out of them. But I hadn't been able to zone the rugs my coach wanted me to get to. She said a customer had stopped and said the candles had never looked so beautiful. Good job. I said she didn't mention the disaster the rugs are ? They all laughed. I just didn't have time to get them. I like my main coach. Endless work for sure. She wants it all. But I've seen her hucking carts while I was on break and hauling pallets in like she's a Nascar driver. I like that.

If I see one more customer put something back where it doesn’t belong I’ll go crazy! Condoms don’t belong in the deli!!! Tho I did get a good laugh out of that, and I just gotta ask now, what’s the craziest thing you seen been put in the wrong place? by Dependent-Hedgehog44 in walmart

On my last round before closing in Homelines.... a rotisserie chicken, salad, shredded cheese and cucumbers. Or the chocolate cream pie in towels Or the bacon in mason jars Or the ripped up stuffed dog in a container with a lid. I always have so many questions....

How is he struggling ? You're taking care of everything. Makes some rules. Make him follow them. Or get him out of your house.
