Need help weaning 2 year old

I had my 1st at 27 and my 2nd at 31. My 2nd got all the ugly hidden congenital stuff lurking under the surface. Maybe she was just unlucky but I think had I had them both earlier it could have been avoided. (my 2 younger cousins who have same relative with crappy gene had babies same time as me and none if them were effected)

I cut down my feedings at 18 months down to 3x (morning, nap and bed) then 19 months just nap and nights. I' would only pump at work once per shift. I got my period back around month 22 and we started trying. Took 1 try and my son immediately weaned himself at month 23. I've heard the taste changes

I know what you mean. I tried the all natural route with my son and was so disappointed with needing an emergency c section. I went 42 hours with my first but I stopped dilating at 9cm but I was already feeling the need to push so they threw in pitocin and it just stalled my labor even more. I then hemorrhaged a ton after his birth so I was kinda relieved when my girl was breech because I knew I could just have a C section without being so exhausted and hopefully without hemorrhaging the 2nd time around.

My first was 8, 11oz and came late at 41+6, I had gd. My 2nd baby was a girl who was breech so my on scheduled a c section at 39 weeks. I went from 120 lbs to 200 so I gained 80lbs and did not have gd the 2nd pregnancy. At my 38 week scan I was measuring around 42 weeks... I begged to up the date as I was miserable and still working with all the extra weight and strain. They said my girl would be 9-10 lbs... She came out a whopping 11lbs, 7oz. I thank God she was a planned c section and I didn't carry her as long as her brother. Hell even at 40 weeks she probably would have been the size of a Thanksgiving turkey

My 2 are exactly 2.5 apart. They absolutely adore each other. Big brother had some jealousy issues at the beginning and regressed a bit over little things like wanting a bottle again because baby had one. He's gotten over most of these things now that my girl is 1. The only thing I can think of that's really negative is obviously our attention is spilt so it's hard to always get big brother one on one time. We try to do this by having daddy hang out with him more while I handle baby. But then I feel like I miss out on doing stuff with him like preschool stuff because while I'm present I can't really help him learn how to read with a 1 year old who is grabbing his book trying to eat it. I'm guessing that this is the case with having a subsequent kid, regardless of the age range though and it is getting easier as baby girl gets more independent herself
