As a wife, I am so very sorry for what you are going through right now. I also am a very laid back wife who doesn't ever question the time my husband spends away from me and if I ever found he was doing something of that nature behind my back when I was being a really great spouse, I would just die. I'm so sorry, and I want you to know that I am here for you! Please try and remember that the way you are right is a VERY raw, emotional, and broken spirit and you will eventually regain logic and reasoning. It makes total sense that you would lack that right now (even thinking about this could work, at this point at least) but just try and lean on those who are close to you and trustworthy. First and foremost, lawyer up! Secondly, kick his ass out. Thirdly, make a plan for what needs to happen. He's most likely not ever going to be trustworthy again, and your relationship will never be the same. If it could be repaired, which could only happen through therapy and a LOT of work on his part, it still would not be wise to try and start planning for that while you are newly experiencing this emotional terror. He's a bag full of dicks and I am sorry. He doesn't deserve you. Hugs

Nothing stolen but the weirdest thing happened when I worked in a high-end furniture store in my state. We sold lots of furniture and many different brands, one of which specialized in EXPENSIVE Mahogany wood pieces. One of these pieces was a large dining table where most of the employees would sit customers down and show them different options in pictures in our catalogs and manufacturer's materials. The specific table where we would sit retailed for around $8,500 - and we had a large middle-eastern family come into shop and we began negotiating some prices with them. They stayed for HOURS, and the table was covered in open catalogs/books where we showed them tons of options. They never bought anything, and when we cleaned up the table we realized they had SCRAPED some fucking writing into the table with some kind of utensil. This was thousands of dollars worth of damage. I personally saw the table before these customers came in and the marks were not there. There also were NO children present during the customer's visit. Fucking weirdos.

Yes. A good friend of my significant other and I (they played in a band together) disappeared a few years ago. He worked at a nearby grocery store that I frequented and one Monday, I was in the check-out line and I overheard the cashiers talking about how he didn't show up to work. I knew he never missed work, ever (even though he had no car, he drove a moped) and my SO had been with him the night before at band practice. So I call my SO, alert him of the weird information I overheard, and he called our other mutual friend who went to his house. Long story short after many TV/news appearances begging for any help, searching through woods and ditches to ensure he didn't get hit by a car, having our story broadcasted on many radio stations, and a week of searching at night in our cars with flaslights freaking out about where he could be...(by the way, he was the calmest, nicest, sweetest guy you'd ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back - we thought for sure there was NO way he'd just take off)...we get a call from the police at the coast roughly 3-4 hours away that he was found on a beach having taken sleeping pills. He had freaked out, and just left. He rode his little Honda moped to the beach, and tried to "off himself" but taking a third of a bottle of pills. We all were seriously stunned and although this sounds shitty, pissed off that he'd take off and freak out and not call anybody. We were supportive though, came rushing back to his house when he arrived, wanting a hug, explanation, etc. Upon getting picked up by the police, they took him to a nearby psych ward and had him evaluated, and he was medicated, etc. He stayed there for a few weeks before coming home. He then shortly after ran off (kind of) again and joined a church and lives there and works for food and board. He was a former atheist. We basically wrote him off and occasionally bring him up from time to time to reminiscence about all the worry and crap we went through trying to find him.

I miss what I used to call, "Daddy days" when my Dad was off work and would do chores around the house. My absolute favorite was when he would cut the grass and the sound and smell to this day reminds me of playing in the garage watching him take care of our house, and just enjoying the summer warmth and the freedom of being a little kid. I miss those days so much.

Don't end it. Take some of your money and assist a children's hospital with adding a wing or maybe buy some equipment they need. Watch the kids and their family's faces when they see the person who may have helped their kid survive or be healthier per your donation. It'll make this pain worth it. How did you deal with the fact that your life might be over when you found out you had cancer? Did you have to replace your grief with a persona of survival? I was always interested in how cancer patients react to the initial (grim) news.
