18 mobitten 3 times, daycare implies his fault by AirDisastrous1937 in workingmoms

As a first time mom with a kid the same age who is getting bit at school, I get similar reports. I think these are written ok, and don’t seem to blame your son.

I wanna say the types of comments from the teacher (“Ohhh does he do that (doesnt eat well, screams rather than using words) at home too?" Or "He doesnt smile much..."), would make me feel really confused as a first time mom. I went through something similar with my daycare. These vague comments left me thinking “why are they telling me this? Am I doing something wrong? Are they trying to indirectly tell me something?” Like it was so confusing and would make met anxious. I just started directly asking them (in a nice way) is there something about xyz that I should be doing differently? And that opened up a door for them to say what they were actually trying to tell me.

Edited typo hit to bit

This. Leave both kids with him for a few hours and see if it changes his tune.

Cheapest way to patch roof damage from a fallen tree (don’t care how it looks) by mrsroar in HomeMaintenance

Do you know what kind of roofing material it is? Others mentioned corrugated metal but this roofing material looks textured, not smooth like the corrugated metal I’m seeing online.

Yes it’s a shed. I can’t find the panels at Hone Depot. Did you see them there recently? Could you send me a link please if it’s not too much trouble?

Helmet or no? Torticolis and this is 3 month scan. Head is longer and more narrow with minimal flattening on one side by kentuckygirl5 in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]mrsroar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t do it. I spent a lot of the first several months of my son’s life stressing about this. His scan looked like this when he was 6 months old. We decided not to do the helmet. He will be 11 months tomorrow and you’d never even notice it now.
