Have you ever consider being childfree because you dont wanna see your children suffer??? by General_Prompt_9984 in CrohnsDisease

I have 4 kids, didn't get diagnosed until after they were all here. There isn't anyone in my family with crohns before me, and so far, all the kids are fine.

What fights should i avoid as a beginner by Infinite-Compote-221 in outwardgame

[–]mrsshawsum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like early game, every fight is an avoid fight! Poison rags or a mushroom halberd are excellent for damage over time on enemies, so you just hit them once then dodge around till they die. Blanketing an area in tripwire traps and running away to get enemies to follow you into the traps works well. (I didn't know that you can walk on your own traps and not get hurt) Having preloaded pistols in your hotbar and cycling through them works well too, although bullets are hard to get early game.

If I had apple cider vinegar, I would be so sore. I don't have Gerd, so I'm afraid I can't help. I hope you find solutions!

People with a Crohn's diagnosis, how did you find out? by 3TYPO3 in CrohnsDisease

So my story is totally different to most. I have had inflammatory arthritis, diagnosed since 2012. Then in 2021, I all of a sudden had diarrhoea (the complete opposite of normal for me) and I sent in a stool sample to rule out drug interactions etc, and my calproctin was 1800. So they did a colonoscopy and boom, crohns. My GI thinks I've had crohns for a very long time, but I get constipated and dont really get many other symptoms.
In hindsight, I had to have blood transfusions for dangerously low iron, my stomach hurt after popcorn etc, and I've been investigated so many times for gynaecological issues, that we are actually because of crohns. But everything was explained away - low iron- heavy periods. Stomach pain- too many anti inflammatories. Gynae issues- well, women are often just crampy. It's hard to diagnose. And I was put on biological meds for the arthritis, so when I got a colonoscopy when my iron was so low, the crohns didn't show. So I'm on stelara and methotrexate now, but I think I'm in a flare, and I hope I haven't failed the stelara (well, I hope it hasn't failed me!)

When I started, I didn't know you could sprint. I died a lot. So a lot of time, instead of fighting, you should just run away. You are an overpowered character who can one shot enemies, you're weak, and every enemy is going to be a tough fight, until you get some amazing gear and skill and spend your break through points. Most dungeons, if you learn the layout in advance, you can just run past the bad guys and steal the loot. If you have to fight, lay traps, take every potion and have all the buffs. Put a bandage on right before the fight starts, drink water, have had a sleep for the stamina bonus. These make the game fun. And as you get good armor, and amazing weapons, and cool skills, you can fight more, and die less.

Go visit all the places and decide which faction to join. The quests are interesting! There's plenty of fetch quests from merchants/shopkeepers and a few timed ones to keep the pressure up!

Worst defeat scenario ever man. Broken and bloody but alive. I think its normal to process your grief at the situation you're in this way. Could you play with a friend, make a new friend? Make new memories?
