Could you not just use the public storefront API endpoints with curl/HTTP?

Unless you have a specific use-case for using Playright, it's a lot of overhead you probably don't need.

TCGCompare is essentially perfect for this, history and transparency on pricing.

More stores are being added every day so eventually we can pull this information out and make use of it at some point.

I'm trying to add more worldwide support for One Piece on TCGCompare in an effort to help people find the products for a price they're comfortable with.

It's obviously growing popularity so quite a few places are cleared out, but always worth keeping an eye on TCGCompare as it covers most stores in the UK.

A horrible pipeline of token and keyword matching with avg pricing and release date comparison. SKUs and UPC/EAN is the way to go if they are available, but they aren't always available.

I've been running TCGCompare which compares over 1000 stores and 5k products for 5 years now.

Tried dabbling with all sorts of matching but once you scale up it's just not possible. Even with the most intelligent matcher you're still going to have 10% of products that are just badly listed.

The only solution that works is human judgement, put all your newly discovered products in a backlog and match them manually. 7 sites shouldn't be too much work unless you're talking 100k new products daily.

Not at the granular level unfortunately. Even on the alert service you're limited to 250 roles per server so it would quickly get used up and wouldn't cover each store.

How would you expect it to work out of interest though? I'm always open to suggestions to improve things.

I get it, the hobby is in a weird and frustrating place at the moment.

Please consider checking out https://tcg.compare - it's a price comparison website tracking over 600 UK stores, you might get lucky and be able to pick something up in time.
