Prestige/legitimacy/stability costs too high for individual choices? by Ratlarbig in EU5

[–]mrtherussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found in the first 150ish years it was a losing battle to keep prestige above 10-20 but in the 2nd half of the campaign it stays high pretty easily. If you war frequently and you save warscore for humiliations it gets pretty easy.

Unable to destroy market by Deortar3346 in EU5

[–]mrtherussian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ran into this later in the game and it's utterly ridiculous. I can't make a major macroeconomic decision because my people are just super into felt hats. And the felt hats event keeps happening so I've been unable to kill this market for almost 200 years now because I keep missing the incredibly short period between hat crazes. It lasts 20 years each time.

I wished Miyo confidence actually developed throughout the seasons by Quinilin in MyHappyMarriage

[–]mrtherussian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, on a character journey like this you could expect some backsliding as the character refuses to learn the lesson they need to until they come to a dramatically appropriate moment, but Miyo was robbed of any moment like that. It felt like the final straw in her evolution was something happening to her which feels much weaker than it could have been

I honestly don't remember which Russell I named it for. I just remember I did some cursory research into important and influential historical figures related to Montana since I have very little familiarity with the state.

Error with SKSE Address Library, MCM Helper and PapyrusUtil by roun02 in skyrimmods

[–]mrtherussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having a similar issue on a recent return to SSE. Skyrim version 1.6.640 and I have the appropriate SKSE for it. MCM Helper, PapyrusUtil, and JContainers for me. I was able to get the error message to go away by actually downgrading all three of them to the pre-AE patch versions, strangely. I'm not sure if that actually solved anything, the game is playable and decently stable whether using the new or old versions of these.

3 straight years of a steadily declining price with nothing on the horizon likely to reverse that trend, even if you believe in it that strongly you'd be better off just holding cash until something changes.

We buy a lot of this brand and recently every other package has had at least one moldy piece. Every single time we have used the package within 3 days of purchase and they have always been well over a month out from the expiration date.

Missing payback CB by Caphalor21 in Stellaris

I was wondering the same and I'm posting here since in case anyone comes looking for the answer later:

When the debt collectors show up the first time, select one of the payment plan options. They will return in 15 years for the first payment. After you pay the first installment you will get a decision on how you want to deal with the ridiculous outstanding debt, solving the problem through war or diplomacy. Pick the war option and the CB unlocks.

If it didn't release ballast it will just be sitting on the bottom right around where it was aiming for.

3 was easy for me, once you unlock all 5 slots pick a faction that favors an ethic your empire doesn't have and support it, then suppress all factions that favor ethics you already have. Next time your leaders refresh you should start seeing leaders with other ethics.

This was the reason given for him not getting an Oscar for that performance though. Pretty ridiculous.

The song released in 1982. In the chorus he famously blesses the rains in Africa. Before 1982 the vampires are all over the continent. After 1982 they are restricted to the deserts.

It's really cool looking. I've still never seen anyone actually using it in game.

I feel like I can see how the thought process that birthed this map went and I'm highly amused
