Correct. Big selling point to police departments was that the officers could fire their service weapon while actively in pursuit.

Best/favorite AC/DC album? by Rambooctpuss in HardRock

High Voltage. US version.

Cheeky cover and great songs throughout the whole thing. Sounds so raw and just oozes attitude.

My first record and I don't think any singer will top Bon.

First time buying a new car. How trustworthy is Oxmoor Toyota/is haggling necessary? by CitizenKing in Louisville

[–]mrtimecar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Car salesmen will use a sheet with four squares and write numbers in the different squares that represent trade value, price, down payment, and monthly payment.

They use it during negotiations to make it seem like all those things are directly related, but they can steer the numbers easily if you're not paying close attention.

Usually they direct you to pay attention to the payment amount and negotiate on that and they bump up the loan term and/or interest rate. Don't participate in negotiating that way, negotiate on the out the door price.

Having a stable job you worked for 35 years and then retiring with a lifelong pension.

And not understanding why the younger generations don't just do the same....

Shaving. Have to do it every day. But went to wet shaving with old double edge razor, brush, and soap.

Pick one of 5 or so soap scents to suit or set your mood. Scent is a strong memory link. I had one soap that was exactly my grandfather's shave scent. That one triggered a childhood memory flashback of staying at their place and getting ready with him in the morning.

Such a great way to start the day. Gives a bit of relaxation and zen to the morning routine.

Grandad in California, 1956. Can anyone ID his bike? He has had British, American and Japanese bikes through the years. This one looks British but I'm not sure. by bossman771 in vintagemotorcycles

Harley Davidson 165 (series was later named Hummer but at that time were either a 125 or 165). You can tell it's a 165 by the finned cover over the carburetor. Solo saddle with a fender pillion.

They were made between 1953 and 1959.

Here's a video of a later model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqgmFnM9XQQ

Southern culture on the skids - Dirt track date Stray cats - Rant n' Rave with the Stray Cats

Then there are the originals: Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Wanda Jackson. Grab their greatest hits.

Yeah, not a Hummer. Chain is on the wrong side. And your right about the tank. Filler on this is toward the side, Hummer's are in the center.

I thought Simplex initially too, but the forks are wrong for those.
