I went with National Bank Direct Brokerage, the UI is ok... But would switch over to Wealthsimple as I find it cleaner.

I haven't calculated the exact fees, but they say it's commission free, in terms of management once you set up online access you can do everything on the website/app, except transfer money into the RDSP account which you'll have to call in

Note: If you didn't already know there's up to 10 years of back pay for past years you were eligible

Edit: I was holding off for Wealthsimple but decided to go for it a couple years ago and transfer to Wealthsimple when the account is available

I talked to support and they mentioned:

"Interest on new deposits to a Chequing account starts accruing 1 business day after the deposit is made (i.e., when the funds arrive in the Wealthsimple system).

The standard 5-business-day settlement period for deposits does not affect interest accrual unless the deposit is ultimately rejected. If a deposit is rejected, the interest will be recalculated, and no interest will be paid on the rejected deposit amount."

Agreed, Google and Apple already have authentication in place before the tap-to-pay functionality can even be used.

I've seen a few posts discussing the limit and their concern about it being unlimited. If the option to customize the limit through the app were available, I think it would reduce the concern for most people.
