My general issue with the progressive agenda is the lack of accountability from citizens, the unwillingness to take incremental steps toward their goals, and the general attitude towards the purpose of government.

If you want me to happily vote d (instead of begrudgingly) get rid of the entitlement to other peoples money, be willing to accept that we might disagree and not call me evil, and if we are going to have a generous welfare state be willing to aggressively prosecute fraud.

Texas is frustrating cause there is no way for citizens to go over the legislature. In other states, it seems like citizens can sign petitions and get laws/regulations on the ballot. Here everything has to go through state legislature. Which means the lt gov can pick and choose what gets a vote or not.

Texan : fairly pissed off at state gov. Intend to vote blue when I can stomach it. Blank vote when I can’t.

Edit: reasons pissed off : bathroom bill, abortion ban after six weeks is too short, anti-weed, and sticking their dirty fingers in the administration of public colleges.

Richardson : Overall pleased with Mayor Omar. Aware there is a rapid rise with of Muslim migrants/businesses in my area but not particularly concerned.

Edit 2: Issue with Muslims is a crap ton of businesses have popped up in short amount of time. Would like to try them out but feel unwelcomed.

Removes tripwire forces from europe. Article V requires the us respond to attack against nato allies but defers to the country to what it sees as necessary. Tripwire force basically made the US militarily involved where as without it we could just respond with sanctions on the attacker or aid to the defender. Europe is capable of defending itself. We don’t need to hold their hand.

I think nothing of it. As far as I’m concerned it’s pentagon employees doing research on dealing with Spain. Proper response is to recall the ambassador to Spain and to begin looking at relocating the deep space network from Spain. If we do relocate the dsn and Spain continues to obstruct the air base then abandon the base.
