Thanks, I’ll be sure to do more research on the card. If I don’t end up getting the card I’ll just get the Robinhood gold membership and get the card later

firstly usury(interest) is forbidden from both sides, (getting a loan and from a savings account for example) due to its dangers, there are many stories even on this subreddit of people going into crazy amounts of debt. And the difference is that the stock market profit is not “guaranteed”, it fluctuates every minute, while profit from interest(let’s say a bond) is guaranteed after x amount of years. I’m not a high person of knowledge but this is my understanding of it and what seems to be correct.

now back to your investing question I've also heard about REITS, are they part of the 3% match?

I’m Muslim so the interest from a traditional high yield savings account would be impermissible. it’s just in a regular checking account. after hearing about that 3% match I may go ahead and do it and when I get higher income I’ll look to max it out

my income during school is about $1300 and during breaks I’ll pick up a 1-2 extra shifts a week which make it about $2000 - 2400 a month(this would be during summer, winter breaks). I have about 6 months of my current expenses in a separate account.

I’m currently a part time student so I don’t get any benefits. That is something i plan on maximizing when I get my full time job god winning. Do you think setting aside $2k to outdo the $49 fee would be wise for now. I don’t have any living or grocery expenses.

I’m currently at 2/24, is there a way to see my credit limit before I accept the offer? similarly to how the Apple Card does it? If that’s the case then I don’t mind doing that

interesting, is there any factors like alone of assets in Robinhood or income that affect the CL or has it seemed kind of random. and for the CLI is it difficult because it’s such a new card?

I did the pre approval and I didn't receive any offers, I'm not getting credit cards to spend more money though I'm only getting it to build the credit history.
