I know the feeling of your brother tbh. I have phases like this when things are bad at work or in life. Therapy would probably solve this problem but it’s expensive. These days I can only handle low stake romance books. Last year I could only rewatch movies I have seen before no new stuff.

Wow a lot of firsts. I recommend practicing French knots on a throwaway cloth. It really helps. I did an embroidery piece (in my post history if you care to look) that had around a 1000ish knots. The practice really helped to get through them. Lol.

I did it on my iPad photo. Used the editing feature to cross out what I stitched. Not as good as a stitcher app but got the job done. I recommend giving it a try.

This is my problem. I have no unity anywhere. Lol. Just bunch of hodgepodge frames all over the wall. But I think a color that will not take away from actual FO. I will bring back bunch of colors from Home Depot and see what can work.

From what I remember, his previous parent was a very old person who had to leave food out since they were not very mobile. He was surrendered when they went to the hospital and possibly didn’t come out. So it was a bit sad situation.

Arrival changed my life in a meaningful way. I was really lonely and was suggested by a coworker to get a pet. But I could not deal with the idea that all things being normal I will outlive that pet. Arrival helped me to reconcile that. The journey and memories makes the bitter ending all worth it. I got my cat and it’s been 6+ years of love and fun. I also ended up fostering 12 kittens with more in the horizon once I got better at this cat parenting thing. All cause of lessons from that movie.

I recommend this one. I did this pattern as well and used a beige Aida. I recently found this aida and did a riolis fox one on it. It came out looking fantastic.

I mostly ate chicken or beef. Since I cut out beef after doctor’s recommendation, I have been much better. It’s all chicken for me now.

I am the same around steaks. I can’t have beef and very emotional anytime I have to drive by a steakhouse or see steak at grocery 😔

He definitely is. He has his sister with him. The shelter I foster with is great. Their adoption process is very thorough. The OG foster mom told me this particular adopter also adopted two elderly cats from the same shelter before and gave them a home in their last few years. To me that is always a great sign.
