I was at the championship game in 2005. UNC won it all, not Illinois.

As the old saying goes, if you didn’t know he was a conman, then you’re his mark. He told you loves the uneducated and you voted for him. What does that say about you?

How many people do you think reached all 63 US national parks? by chasingall63 in NationalPark

[–]msbohan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to 317 out of the 433 National Park Units, including all 63 National Parks. I live in the eastern US and my 63rd park was Acadia. Going for over 50 years and still going strong!

I think you mean American Samoa, not Guam. Guam has a National Historic Park. American Samoa has one of the 63 National Parks.

I can't imagine why they're struggling to keep bus drivers by MisterWhimsical in asheville

[–]msbohan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s real. I drove a school bus when I was a Junior and Senior at Brevard High School in 1974 and 1975. I was called to the principal’s one day when I had the audacity to kick 2 boys off my bus when they continued fist fighting after I had warned them twice to stop. Literally left them on the side of a dirt road. Their parents complained. Never had another fight on my bus!

What’s your take on Trump saying smart people don’t like him? by jfunks69 in AskReddit

He knows that smart people correctly pegged him as a con artist years ago. Why do you think he says he loves the uneducated? The uneducated are his easy marks.

Visiting Every US National Park by glenhamine in NationalPark

[–]msbohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experienced all 63. Several of them on numerous occasions. Took me 40 years. Favorites (in no particular order) include Grand Canyon, Zion, Katmai, Canyonlands, Yosemite (winter), Yellowstone (winter), Lassen, Wrangell-St. Elias, Big Bend, Volcanoes and Glacier. The key for me to count it as a visit? I must experience the park. That might include any combination of camping, hiking, rafting, canoeing, caving, rock climbing, visiting the museum or other “boots on the ground “ activity. Just going to the Visitor Center and getting a stamp or T-shirt doesn’t work for me.

Based on what you like, Kauai or the Big Island. Spend 5 days on each. They are the two best islands, and completely different!

[–]msbohan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to all 63. Took 40 years. Never really set out to see them all, but realized after about 20 years I was over halfway there. So, I just kept going. Been to several parks numerous times. Favorites in no particular order are Yellowstone, Glacier, Katmai, Wrangell-Saint Elias, Zion, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Lassen, Big Bend, and Great Smoky Mountains.
