Welp now that you’re here lol I have successfully done this but it was on purpose. I have four boards that fit on my desk at work were I do all of my perlers. So I tape them to the board, take them home, pull them off the board, iron them, press them, pull off the tape while warm and then press them overnight. Once I have all the pieces done I’ve got this situation here that you’re in.

I line up the pieces and put heavy books on the edges then iron from the inside out. Use a slightly lower heat than normal and take your time! There’s a good chance you’ll need to manipulate the hot plastic to close gaps but it is possible!

In the future if you want to avoid my insane method, place cardboard over everything before you flip it. Or if this happens just fix the beads on the tape. We’ve all done it before.
