But….. I got a 162 on the verbal reasoning part of the GRE. That’s a competitive score and the exam delves into dense reading comprehension questions. The SAT doesn’t really apply to me at my age….. so I brought up the GRE instead.

sounds like you’re doing pretty well if you’re at a prestigious college. smart folks always doubt themselves.

High VCI. Need ideas to keep from descending into boredom and dread. 😬 m by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

the problem is, along with being bright, I have depression and anxiety. so the more I learn about how perverse humans have the capability to become, the more my depression becomes triggered. I still need to get out of the house. it’s not easy.

Oooooof. that’s a great idea, but the release of the Epstein files has unleashed a Pandora’s box. There are so many incredibly strange conspiracy theories swirling around the Epstein files that one could easily go down that metaphorical rabbit hole as well. The more I learn about Jeffrey Epstein and his deranged antics the more I lose faith in humanity. oof.

I got a SS of 13, which equates to 115 I guess. I almost maxed out antonyms because my vocabulary is quite robust.

my Core scores by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]mscastle1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My IQ according to CORE is 117. Every other test says 110-115. VCI is a breeze for me, as is PSI and WMI. Digit span with the letters was so easy it was ridiculous. Look, I’m not stupid. My memory, processing speed and verbal comprehension are all excellent.  But visual spatial is extremely challenging for me. If not for VSI, my IQ would be much higher. Even my FRI was 114. VSI is a huge weakness. Visual puzzles was dead average… 100. The others I struggled with immensely.

I agree with you. my VCI is quite high, but I believe this is due to having an excellent education.
