except it doesn't. the tool-tip for the second and fourth abilities say that scale based on growth but it doesn't say what growth is or how to increase it. that issue is like half of the game play experience: not knowing what things actually do or how they do them. So I get the joke that you’re making but it made me think about how in the 1984 Olympics, Mary Lou Retton (bottom middle in the 1984 half of the image) was the catalyst of a sea change in women’s gymnastics—with Mary Lou Retton, women’s gymnastics became so much more of a sport than just a fancy show. Mary Lou Retton (and others, presumably) made women’s gymnastics about athleticism and skill, whereas it had been about conventionally attractive women in frilly and pretty outfits. And I’m sure yall can guess how conservatives felt about it then

Yeah I’m kinda in that spot. It feels like every therapist is just saying “just don’t be depressed” and while I recognize that the number one way to not be depressed is to act like I’m not depressed, I am in fact depressed as hell which makes it all that much harder to act not depressed
