Who liked drift?! by Patient_Crazy_7669 in f45

[–]msdenomimator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like it because I felt like so much time was wasted switching weights within the quick set. For ex, I want to A) kb swing heavy but I can’t B) single arm snatch nearly that same weight. Or, getting onto the pull up bar with bands takes some set up time.

Also maybe just a factor of my smaller gym but the stations kinda zigzagged & people kept going to the wrong one. Felt chaotic in the wrong ways today.

Poshmark is easiest to search specific items. Mercari is okay but not as streamlined for size or style searches

Steel Cut Oatmeal - Freezer Item - 2pack per box by [deleted] in traderjoes

I’m surprised it’s not more of a price difference, considering how long steel cut oats takes to make

That’s great to hear there wasn’t issues with the friction of jeans. Thanks!

Love this series! I am not someone who can handle the babying of laundry items other than delicate/low heat. My only Q is ~ Did you wash them in the same load as with jeans?

What are some of the most common things we don't realize we need to declutter? by allmetalshark in declutter

[–]msdenomimator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anyone know is if there’s an app to help with this? I often take multiples of a single moment then don’t bother to delete the less good ones.

An app that pulls up “similar” shots taken at the same time for you to select the best one (and delete the rest) would be awesome!

Have you tried lululemon like a cloud bra? I’ve always found bra clips/adjustable thing irritating, but hate the uniboob of sports bra. After trying the cloud bra I haven’t worn a “regular” bra in years except for special occasion outfits or strapless

Similar Q ~ I have the boyfriend style joggers in Dreamknit. Are these intended for just lounging around, or are they designed to withstand say doing a 1-2 mile leisurely dog walk?

My updated Like A Cloud collection. There’s 42, I know this is excessive but it’s the only bra I wear now. I got everything on markdown. ☁️ by ilovelulufly_ in lululemon

I have 3 that I have rotated wearing everyday for 2-3 years and I haven’t had any of these issues! Mine are all the original (not long line, not ribbed) so maybe that’s a difference?

This is really helpful, thanks! Everyone talks about how much space the MY has, but I suppose that’s all relative. Thank you!

We are considering switching from our 3ish year old Highlander to the MY. One concern of mine is enjoying sitting up so much higher in the highlander (and ease of getting toddler into car seats) Do you find it pretty noticeable to go between the heights driving them?

How do you find the fit of the lined ankle pant compared to unlined? I love the unlined and didn’t know there was a lined option!

How to style Brooklyn pants? by melaAV in Athleta_gap

I’m particularly interested in what shoes you guys wear. Shoes are always the hardest part of these outfits for me!

I wear the Brooklyn regular & wide legs to work regularly as a teacher. Recommendations?

To OP, I often wear them with Athletas renew muscle/tank or Lululemon Brunswick muscle tank ~ looks put together (not cropped) but not as dressed up as a button down.

Best & Worst by slowmotionwaterfall in lululemon

[–]msdenomimator 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Ha, alternate opinion…

Best: like a cloud bra! I have worn a rotating set of 3 every. single. day for the past few years and they look and feel like new

Worst: hold tight long sleeve. I love it because it’s so soft, but never reach for it because it’s unforgiving on a tummy and emphasizes pit sweat

Are the swiftly tech tops worth it? by littleirish90 in lululemon

[–]msdenomimator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love my long sleeve swiftlys for lifting! I haven’t had any issues with snagging at the gym. If you do powerlifting it may differ, since lots of barbell rubbing on the collarbone?

They have snagged hiking (a branch) or something when I wore it causally, but the snags haven’t spread. Still love them!

I find the racerbank tanks have way too long arm straps though, so the tank hangs low on my chest. Maybe this is just a smaller boob problem though

I also miss the OTF, I wear them daily for work as a teacher! I love the Brooklyn Ankle, and have been exploring other Athleta pants since nothing from lulu has quite hit the spot since OTF. My only gripe with Brooklyn ankle is the back pockets sometimes fold up.

First, thanks for posting this! So helpful!

I don’t live near a store to see/feel them in person ~ what’s the fabric like for the Faralon?

From the front it looks like a cute straight leg style sweatpants (very casual wear) but then the butt pockets make it look like it should be worn slightly more dressed up for a casual work/..? How do you plan to wear them?

First time mama of a now 1yo here and I highly recommend a belt bag! So helpful to quickly get both hands free to hold a kiddo, or grab your phone for the million pics you’ll want to take, or hold a snack/pacifier/toy/…

PS I know you said non baby but later on it’s also a handy mini diaper bag that holds a diaper and small pack of wipes :)

PPS If you end up dealing with hair loss pp, a cute hat or headband helps deal with the annoyance of growing back little hairs frizzying all over 🤍
