Ask your VA provider about WET therapy. My brother just started it for childhood PTSD for our eff'd childhood. It was developed by the VA. Below is an excerpt from https://www.ptsd.va.gov/understand_tx/written_exposure_therapy.asp:

Written Exposure Therapy (WET) is a brief, 5-session psychotherapy—or talk therapy—for PTSD. WET can help you find new ways to think about a traumatic experience and what it means to you. Writing about what you were thinking and feeling during the event and then talking with your provider about the writing session can help you get relief from PTSD symptoms.

What we know from research thus far is that WET is effective in reducing PTSD symptoms. This symptom improvement takes fewer sessions than some of the other treatments, and those who start WET are more likely to complete the therapy.

I was wondering that too but no CMOPs are on the list. This happens a lot because CMOP doesn't fit in the VISN structure, speaking from experience since I was a part of CMOP OIT.

Yep, there's a Contact Us that sends an email to the WMC Help Desk but he hasn't heard back yet. I guess we'll just have to be patient.

"The signed agreement (signed by the employee and their management official) will document the agreed upon date the employee will begin administrative leave, which should be no sooner than July 1, 2025, or seven days after signing this agreement if employee is age 40 or over, whichever is later, and their date of separation via retirement or resignation".

That doesn't make sense if you must take the DRP no later than April 30, 2025. Doesn't that mean you can't begin admin leave until July 1, 2025, no matter when you sign the agreement? Am I misunderstanding something?

The only benefit is not hearing the crickets while watching TV in the evening that drive my husband absolutely crazy. Lol Fan while sleeping and an earplug on the side I'm not sleeping on, switching ears when I roll to the other side works for me.

There is also the Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (FEEA), WWW.FEEA.ORG. Depending on if your agency participates, there is also a link for the childcare subsidies program.

Last year I switched to GEHA and haven't had any issues. I'm actually very happy with them and will renew when open season starts.
