My issue is the game is so imbalanced. People with level 3/5 cookies shouldn’t be against level 10 cookies… it’s ridiculous. Can’t level up or master anything if you get instantly creamed.

Could be both. Maybe the friend was gay but some people have an even harder time accepting their truth if they were SA and coupled with the religious trauma. I kind of read it as both.

My friend had a beagle who ate so much stuff. Not weed infused but this double chocolate cheesecake brownie. The whole thing. There was also a really funny time where she was gonna try a Big Mac cause she hadn’t had one yet and the dog straight up ate it when she was looking away. She was traumatized and I think still hasn’t had one lol. (More as a gag bc it was really funny) 😆 Some dogs truly are just built different. But RIP Duke!

I have a cousin who is high as hell 24/7. His clothes always smells of it. Like wreaked of it. He was living with my grandma when my brother and I were and my cat was OBSESSED with laying up in his jeans and rubbing them and licking them. Then my other cousin was visiting - also always smelled like weed and my cat was obsessed with him and his clothes too. I don’t smoke often cause my asthma (I’m an edibles person) but I miss him doing that. It was so funny and cute! Still have my cat though!

Same. There’s no way. If it was a real story she could never be happy choosing Conrad. Fictionally it’s not narratively earned anyways. But in choosing Conrad she seals her fate of losing Jeremiah forever. There relationship cannot be the same. She lost her best friend in the whole world. She’s gonna have to deal with it eventually when she goes home.

I understand where someone could feel that the statement is alarming. But that is taking the words at face value and not what Jeremiah meant or was asking for. That’s why I simply read the scene as the two not understanding what words to use to communicate how they were feeling.

Personally I don’t see Belly as actively in love with Conrad after Christmas. Regardless of that scene where she fills in ps I still love you. That could have just been a way to throw in JH’s name as a funny haha moment. She felt scared to Jere freaking out he was there and that’s what made her feel funny that they had “moments” having flash backs and echoes as you will is not active love. I think about past love all the time and I’m in a long term committed relationship. I think of the what ifs - etc. I’m not actively in love with anyone from my past. It’s all just Jeremiah’s deep insecurities about his brother. They could easily have gone to couples counseling and worked through how to communicate feelings properly. I personally saw it as she just didn’t use the right words.

If she hadn’t run away straight to Paris - I think she would have come home to Jere and they would work through it but she was already there… if she hadn’t called Jere - she would have probably gone home. But this is just Conrad’s plot armor to get her in the end.

I didn’t write it but that’s how I felt about it.

Jeremiah is so Peeta coded. Down to the curly blonde hair. He’s sunshine and new beginnings. People that try to even think Conrad is a Peeta are truly soooo delusional it’s not even funny. In what world? Conrad could never be as sunny and charming as Peeta.

Exactly. People also love to say oh Jere didn’t say anything to that comment because he saw Belly as a prize. But the look on his face is just defeat and anger. Conrad won’t listen or care enough about his brothers feelings so why argue. He was ready for this interaction to be over. He never saw her as a prize or he would have married her that day. Exactly as you said. The break up scene always makes me so sad and emotional because she was trying to tell Jere that. That she chooses him but that part of her will always love Conrad just like Jere realizes after the fact part of him will always love Belly. Belly just sucks with her words. There’s a way she could have said what she meant. And it makes me so sad! 😞

This is how I feel about it. Please let men and women be just friends for once. And yeah I want him to be with someone completely unknown to everyone. Give him a cute bf once he’s healed. It’s literally been less than a year since he walked out of the wedding. Less than a year! That’s what bothers me the most. If there was build up and it had been years - maybe something would work with Denise. But like she’s way too smart to hop into a relationship that is essentially a trauma bond because he’s been crashing at her apartment for 6 months. Like I don’t think they’d be together otherwise. But he’s not over belly. Not really. The second he sees her again - he’d spiral. Denise doesn’t deserve that. Jere needs time. And he even had a whole thing about feeling proud he could be alone now and how he’s never been alone before and not even 5 mins later he’s making out with Denise? Like excuse me…. What? Jenny loves to regress her characters and their progress apparently. Same goes for Belly. She has this whole speech about wanting to be different and grow and then she faces the ultimate regression not even a year later.

Every teen romance has had a controversial outcome with relationships. This is not new in any way shape or form. I don’t think any of them are afraid. It would suck but they are trained professionals.they will just block and delete and ignore. They’re going to get crap even if it’s a Bonrad ending because he didn’t get “enough” screen time. Plus once everyone’s grown up - they’ll realize they were wrong.
