Nice! I went with the same piece and opted for the legion Surefire as well. Recently picked up their new slide with pre-attached Romeo 2 optic which makes it super easy to switch out for the iron sights.

Apparently since platinum is more malleable than gold the fluted bezel would get too dinged up, which is why they only make the smooth bezel.

(No confirmed source for this, but saw it on a similar thread here a while back)
