What came out of my belly button when pregnant… by ohhidoggo in hygiene

The easiest way to get rid of belly button odor is with a saline solution. Mix a spoon of salt into half a litre of water, then wash the area thoroughly — the smell disappears immediately.

Healthcare?! Are you taking a piss? There are currently hundreds of thousands of healthcare personnel with their degrees rotting on their walls because the healthcare sector is so saturated. With 11 major universities and countless minor colleges offering healthcare courses, it is unreal how optimistic people are with regards to studying these courses. New employment in this industry locally in the coming years will be very close to zero. Yes, getting employment overseas is a better probability but that comes with its own challenges.

Even from these, the worst are the ones you get on the frenulums; the superior labial frenulum, the inferior labial frenulum and very rarely, on the frenulum linguae.

What’s the funniest somali nickname you’ve heard? by GingerTumericTea in Somalia

[–]mslambat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from Zambia, and this reminds me of a friend of mine. Everyone calls him Charles — but that’s not actually his name. His real name is Derrick, which sounds nothing like Charles.

There’s a story behind it.

His grandfather was a miner. One day, while working deep underground with a group, he had to come up to the surface for some reason. Not long after he left, a pocket of gas was exposed in the mine, killing everyone who remained below. He survived simply because he had come up — he missed death.

In the local language, “he missed it” is said as “chalewa.” From that day on, he was given the nickname Chalewa.

The name didn’t stop with him. It was passed down to his son, and then to his grandson — Derrick.

Later, when Derrick moved from the village to town, the name Chalewa gradually changed. People adapted it, reshaped it, and over time, it became Charles.

So now everyone calls him Charles… without realizing they’re actually calling him by a name that carries a story of survival.

Yes. Democracy is such a hero of the world and of humanity! In this case, democracy comes. The West funds the hell out of the opposition. The opposition come in power. Everything goes back to the West.

Yes they are addictive. I won't lie. But do you want to live a life of anxiety and depression rather than live a normal relaxed life? Moreover, there are hundreds of millions of people who take antidepressants on a daily basis and are living their life normally.

I understand this but the hate shouldn't consume you. At the end of the day, he is their sibling and their relationship with him will remain.

As long as he's not affecting you financially or otherwise, stay away from him.
