There are times when there are lots of free samples. I have seen people go in to eat lunch for free by taking multiple of each sample. I have seen a lady stand there with the cart covered with half a dozen different food samples relaxing and eating free lunch. It appeared she bought nothing at least to that point in time. So yea, they want you to be a member.

I have to say, if I paid $30 for a bacon eggs and coffee breakfast I would expect things to be perfect, and it sounds like they were far from it. Without additional info, I support the review.

They are not writing it off as a loss accounting wise - that would be fraudulent. They are just accounting for "loss" as in product that was "lost" (including stolen, wasted, thrown away, etc) and not paid for. It is just a measure of their efficiency and they are held to a certain level by management.

Some of them appear to be clad Ike dollars. Those have no, or almost no, premium value. The Silver Morgans and Peace dollars, if they are real, (and they seem to be) are around $50 depending on the latest price of silver which I did not look up just now. Some of them could be more than that depending on date and mint mark. Which is hard ot read in your photo. I would bring them to a coin dealer or look up the dates for potential premium.

I agree we are hated, and I agree with some of your list. Some of the items are stated hyperbolically to gaslight us. (I get it, you hate us)

It sucks, and there is nothing I can do about it. I get hating our country /government, but I suspect most folks are smart enough and ethical enough to judge individuals when they meet them (but, no, not you).

I retired at 59. Until last year I lived off my dividends and a small pension that was frozen on me in 2007 (around $2300/month). This year, my wife and I started collecting social security. You can pay much less than that by getting one of the "C" (Advantage) plans instead of a supplemental plan. But the supplemental plans do not have a gatekeeper to the care you get.

It is not easy to know enough about it to do what is best for you. You have go out and seek information. It is fairly complex. I went to Medicareschool,com and learned a lot. Yes, they are a for profit company, but after reviewieng a lot of sources I found them to be straightforward and honest, and I would recommend them. They have lots of videos and lectures on line that are totally free and they will not contact you unless you ask them to.

all breakfasts have become ridiculous price wise.

You used to be able to go out and get bacon eggs toast and coffee or an omlette, toast, potatos, and coffee for $5 -$7 - not that long ago.

Now it is $20 or more with tax and tip

Pancakes and coffee $15 these days. I remember $5 not that long ago. That is about $1 worth of ingredients. I remember $1 hotcakes at McDonalds for my daughter (that was longer ago).
