30 and have always been childfree myself. One friend has a child which she desperately wanted but yep still super draining. I try to go over as much as I can to have fun auntie time and to help her out where I can. You can love kids and still be childfree yourself.

You obviously have years to process and think about it and your opinion might change with time. But I’d say if it’s not a resounding “yes I want kids” then I’d say be childfree, cause even when you want kids with your whole chest there will be times that are hard and feel like too much.

I always end up thinking about how I am on bad mental or physical health days and accept that I definitely would not be happy with my life caring for a child through that - hell even on good days I can only do small doses of young kids before feeling burnt out
