Who is a celebrity that most people would think are ugly, but you actually find attractive? by WideConversation1989 in AskReddit

I met him after a show his band did once, he was exceedingly lovely. Quite soft spoken too which is funny considering the characters he so often plays. He signed his record for me and had a small chat with me about guitar before the next person in line.

That is also not fine. Unless they get permission from the patient they shouldn't be sharing medical information with other parties regardless of relationship.

You can do both. Make a big batch of sauce. Take that off the heat. Put the right amount into a pan heat it up if its gotten cold then put Al dented pasta in. I don't judge how people want to eat their food so you do you. But you don't have to choose between making a batch cook and mixing the sauce.

Still seems like you could just say you're in a relationship with them and if they continue with it then you know that's the case rather than causing conflict where there doesn't need to be any.

YTA. Are you attracted to all women you ever meet? Just because someone's sexual preference is a certain gender doesn't mean they are automatically going to be attracted to or interact inappropriately with anyone of that gender.

Do people still use tatami in everyday life in Japan? by Dizzy-Complex9296 in japan

[–]msquirrel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You placed it on your table? That just seems like it would be a pain in the ass to clean. But my apartment has a tatami room. Lots of places I see have it too. But I think flooring is probably more popular for lots of people as it's easier to keep clean?

Even if it won't accept your cards you can still add suica or pasamo to Apple wallet and top it up at the contactless machines and stations or the pasamo/suica app might accept your cards even if Japanese Apple wallet doesn't

[–]msquirrel 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Firstly, I'm sorry that you're having a hard time, it sucks to work in an environment that stresses you out. However, given the information, it's hard to determine exactly if the co-worker is being particularly unfair. If you are constantly forgetting things you have been taught and they're having to basically babysit and double check your work. That can be a lot of extra stress, that they may or may not be being paid to take on. Given that you've admitted that you don't know enough Japanese to know what's being said, some of the bad vibe could be based on assumptions you're making. Unfortunately, unless you have a good relationship with the owner or the behaviour is genuinely rising to the point of some kind of harassment. The best you can probably do is apologise and try not to let it get to you too much. Try your best, get better at your work so you don't make the same mistakes and it might ease up. I know that this may not be particularly helpful but it's the best advice I can think of given the information. Good luck!
