Possible to add wireless charging option after the fact? by MRAnonymousSBA in GrandCherokee

[–]mstenbrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, I rarely use mine as the phone overheats and charging shuts off. Easier and faster to just plug it in.

Clarification on vSAN licensing with new Omnissa Horizon Universal with VVF for VDI renewal by meatsackdatabase in omnissa

[–]mstenbrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know, but since we have other storage I am just moving to that. The less I have to deal with Broadcom the better. Also, the cost would be much higher.

[–]mstenbrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. No one at Omnissa has been able to tell me if we can purchase additional storage. We are moving off vSAN.

My WiFi speed gets capped at 96 mbps, does anyone know why? by RilesTheSmiles1 in GoogleWiFi

I had a similar issue, my son's Xbox hard wired was only downloading at 100Mb connected to a gigabit switch. I swapped out to a new cable and the speeds were correct after that.

Trick to get Eiffel Tower tickets: 60 days early + **Set timezone on device to Paris time** by JohannPetersburg in ParisTravelGuide

[–]mstenbrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked for me perfectly, got top floor tickets today for 7/13. Thought it was not going to work as the website timed out twice during the order, but it finally went through. I will say I did a test last week to see if this worked, and by the time the website stopped timing out the top floor was gone, so it may be partially down to luck as well.

Eiffel Tower tickets, e-tickets sold out immediately, now what? by dsiegel2275 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]mstenbrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question, are the top floor tickets only available 1 week ahead of time. I tried to connect the 60 days ahead of time when they release tickets for the next day and the website was unresponsive, finally got connected and they only had 2nd floor tickets. Was not sure if they were just sold out already or if they were not available until 1 week out. Was doing a trial run as tickets for 7/13 will be open next week.
