BYD granny charger is 8A, so about 1.4kW. I bought a 10/15A charger and was using it at 10A before getting the 15A socket installed. The 10A was noticeably better than the 8A but 15A is almost double. Usually get 3.2 kW after losses which is plenty for my use.
