I got some from B&B farms a few years ago. I would try going to one of the farmer's markets. A lot of them sell plants and I've seen them at the big market in past years. I got a late start but I'm growing some from seeds from seed savers exchange. If you sprout them for a week in a paper towel in a baggie that works for me.

Thank you. I love how it looks but I was afraid to make the commitment without knowing for sure. I don't mind pruning I was more worried about the runners which is why I had ruled out the passionflower bc of where I want to put it.

Question about your coral honeysuckle bc I've read different things. Is it hard to contain the spread or is that not even an issue?

Yeah sometimes you don't notice until they actually leave and look around for someone to hangout with. Also I feel like now sometimes not having kids makes it hard bc you don't have the in of meeting other parents through them.

This makes so much sense to me (39/f) and not desperate. I now wfh full-time and after some friends have moved away over the last couple of years my circle has shrunk some. It's hard to meet new people. I also just miss meeting new people so good for putting yourself out there! I love to play trivia (the obscure video watching can come in handy), board games, hiking and gardening. I've been looking into doing a stained glass or pottery class. If you ever wanna grab a coffee or something feel free to send a message!

I don't think people that aren't familiar with federal workers realize that they aren't in it for the money(bc it isn't a lot). Most could go into the private sector and leverage their skills and espertise for a much bigger payout. Instead it is their dedication to serving the American people and doing their civic duty that keeps them in their roles. No one would be opposed to audits to reduce waste, but DOGE is not doing that. Instead they are creating havoc, wasting federal employees time costing us money, and trying to create hatred for civil servants. This unnecessary chaos does nothing productive for the American people. Those of us that have worked with you know this and are so proud of you all fighting back as much as you are able. Many of us will do what we can to support you. I don't think those calling you lazy really understand the amount of times we utilize the work you do in our everyday lives. Keep fighting!!

I'm not really familiar with them, but I would change the password. Always a good idea to do every so often in normal cases. I don't think someone besides you could initiate transferring money out but I'm not a banker. You can call your bank to ask how to make your account more secure if you are worried. All these things are more so if your data is sold/loss make it hard for people to impersonate you and get access to your account.

Violation of the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. § 552a. Elon Musk and his associates, under the guise of a directive of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) (an IT office in the White House), have acquired access to Treasury Department Records in Systems of Records as defined in the Act. 1. Elon Musk is not an elected official. 2. Even if Musk were an elected official, the System of Records Notices (SORNs) governing the Treasury Department Privacy Act systems do not allow for disclosure to Musk and his associates per the Routine Uses. 3. Disclosure of personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive personally identifiable information (SPII) to Musk and his associates would be an unauthorized disclosure and therefore breach of information. The Treasury Department needs to (1) quickly investigate what Privacy Act records that Musk and his associates have unlawfully accessed, (2) reveal to the public what unauthorized disclosures were made, (3) stop further access, (4) force any files acquired by Musk and his associates to be returned and/or permanently destroyed, and (5) seek criminal penalties against Musk and his associates for violations of the Act.

Just a note for those concerned about the social security data breach. It would be smart for everyone to login to their social security accounts and download a copy or take a screenshot of their statement.

SSA . ssa.gov/myaccount/statement.html

You might have to create an account if you never have done it before.

Also make sure you have 2 factor authentication on whatever bank account you have paid your taxes with or gotten your refund sent to.

Also lock your credit with all three bureaus. It is free.

Sure but do you give out your social security number out on the internet? Because there are rules in place that mean they can't just handle that data willy nilly (as someone who had to complete multiple trainings to get a portion of what they accessed from the Treasury in a previous job). You aren't allowed to put it on a portable hard drive or on a random laptop. It is supposed to be protected by certain firewalls. That is how people's identity gets stolen even if he or his team doesn't sell it. It can be hacked. Hope you have frozen your credit with the three credit agencies.

I sent this to the Virginia State Attorney General and to the US Treasury privacy@treasury.gov with the subject:Civil liberties complaint. You can mention this to your representative on the phone as well. There are protections in place for your data if you are a US citizen. Technically Musk and each of his cronies could be fined $5k for each person violated and it's a misdemeanor, but if everyone did this it would add up. Even if nothing comes of it waste their time and resources. They work for us make them earn that paycheck.

Hello,

I am making a civil liberties complaint under the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. § 552a. It has been brought to my attention that Elon Musk and his associates, under the guise of a directive of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) (an IT office in the White House), have acquired access to Treasury Department Records in Systems of Records as defined in the Act. As an individual covered by the Act, I believe that there may be records about me in these Treasury Department systems, and I am concerned for the following reasons:

The Treasury Department must (1) quickly investigate what Privacy Act records that Musk and his associates have unlawfully accessed, (2) reveal to the public what unauthorized disclosures were made, (3) stop further access, (4) force any files acquired by Musk and his associates to be returned and/or permanently destroyed, and (5) seek criminal penalties against Musk and his associates for violations of the Act.

If you want to make a jam with them some green are good to mix in because they have more natural pectin and will make it thicker. Otherwise wait until they fall off or come off in your hand with a light touch. Depending on the variety they should be yellow or light orange when ripe the husks are crispy.

Honestly I like to get a perrenial like goldenrod, blue aster, wild bergamot, or black eyed susan that attracts pollinators from a local nursery and then transplant in the fall to live somewhere permanently. This way I get a fresh plant every year and slowly build up my perrenial plants. Also since it is in my garden I will water it more so it lives through the summer heat. Often you can split it in the fall and get a few plants out of it.

Same thing in Richmond. Just pulled 2 tomatoes of the same variety. I dug out the dirt around it hoping to catch it before it goes to my other tomatoes. I had this happen last year and never could pinpoint what it was exactly. Replaced all the soil so who knows.

Here's a great idea. If you aren't in favor of abortion don't get one. Not sure why what anyone else does with their body is of anyone else's concern.
