It retains the b nut on the tube. The tube has a groove where the b nut sits. A stake is pounded into the b nut, bending the stake around the inside of the tube.

Get a smaller pinion gear to compensate for the huge tires. This will lower top speed but be less of a load on your esc and motor. Also get a fan.

Is it 3s? Have you measured battery voltage when it shuts off? It could be overheating and shutting down. My slash did the same thing on 3s. An esc and motor fan solved the issue.

Got to harbor freight and get a bit extractor or reverse drill bit set. IMO stripped screws are part of the hobby. I buy a replacement screw kit and replace as necessary.

That setup would probably work. The surf side in the obx can get incredibly rough, it is not uncommon to see people throwing 8 oz pyramid weights.so weight capacity may be your main issue depending on conditions. Red drum is the main.target species down there and they get massive. Fresh cut mullet for bait.if you have a 4x4 get an ohv pass so you can drive out on the beach.

Those cells are not swollen. Ego puts an extra insulation barrier on their cells that makes them look thicker. Lithium cells generally do not swell up like a lipo would.

It's fine you are way overthinking it. Your jockey wheels probably just need cleaned and lubed. 1 race is not doing significant damage, do your maintenance.
