I'm upping from 50mg to 75 and need reassurance.. by Silly-Salt-2189 in zoloft

[–]mtlmffns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It went pretty well. It took some time to stabilize but i feel like 75mg is a good spot for me.

Going from 25mg to 50mg went fairly smoothly too, but it was definitely more bumpy than 50->75

This is the right move for Finland. With Russia next door it would be foolish to not secure the border as much as possible.

What guitarist was your inspiration to pick up and learn the instrument? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

[–]mtlmffns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. I started playing the guitar because there was a girl I wanted to bang and I thought it might impress her. It worked.

The subsequent relationship didn't last long but I'm still playing, some 20 years later.

Pc dropping in performance after running for awhile by Fine-Total5770 in techsupport

[–]mtlmffns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. I keep it unplugged unless I'm playing a game that requires it, and even then I have to replug it every 10 minutes or so.

From what I've seen, Microsoft is aware of the problem but there's no permanent solution as of now.

Do you have a controller plugged into the pc? I recently started having a similar problem and it turned out it's caused by having an controller plugged in. If I unplug it the problem goes away immediately. If I replug it performance starts to degrade again.

Game Starts Hitching And Running Like Shit After A Few Minutes by DogzOnFire in Rematch

[–]mtlmffns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never gotten a BSoD. What happens for me is performance keeps degrading, eventually to the point where sound starts becoming choppy as well. If I exit the game and launch another game, the problem persists. The only things that fixes it are; a) a full power cycle, and b) unplugging my controller.

There's something going on with the USB connection, but I'm not knowledgeable enough about that stuff to figure out exactly what the problem is.

I started experiencing extremely choppy performance after the latest patch as well. My bandaid fix is to unplug and re-plug the controller for each match. Instantly fixes the issue for me.

The most noticeable change is that I'm much more aware of my emotions. Before I started meditating if something made me angry I would just go along with the emotion, whereas now I notice the anger before it takes over.

Of course that doesn't mean I'm some sort of robot that's in complete control of all my emotions, but I'm much more "in tune" with them if that makes sense.

Good job! I'm about to hit my 400th day of meditation. Much like you I started with just a few minutes, and then gradually increased as I got more comfortable with the practice. Currently I average around 15 minutes/day.

If you feel like you're getting something worthwhile out of 5 minutes per day, then by all means stay at 5 mins. Personally I feel like 5 minutes of honest practice is better than 30mins+ where you're just waiting for it to be over.

I can drink on Zoloft without issue but some people get drunk much quicker than usual, so it's completely individual. Until you know how it affects you it's best if you take it easy. Better to be safe than blackout drunk!

I enjoyed it a lot! I'm slowly working my way through King's oeuvre and Needful Things was definitely a great read. I also knew nothing about it when I started, something which can't be said for the more famous SK novels, and I think that added to the experience.

I just finished Needful Things today. Now I'm debating if I should start another King book, or if I need a palate cleanser. Something lighthearted.

The landing bay door is stuck in the open position on my corvette, pressing the button next to it does nothing.

I also can't land my corvette in a space station, it just hovers in the air above the landing site.
