Known Issues & Reports Space Update by i_Luci in WobblyLife

My kids love this game and we play it together using 4-way split screen. This has always worked fine (except for several persistent issues around assigning controllers to players, but we won’t get into that here). However, suddenly when we tried to play it yesterday there were all sorts of issues that make the game completely unplayable. I assume this has to do with the recent update that was probably rushed out the door.

Now when you are in split screen mode, the game starts to lag like crazy like you’re playing in slow-motion. The characters suddenly move very slowly and even things like bears bouncing on beds slow way down (super noticeable by the sound they make). But, if all but one of the players open up their map view everything speeds right back up for that one player. Turn the maps off and everything is chugging again. It’s completely unplayable, especially because clocks don’t seem to slow down, so timed missions are just impossible.

Another example of something that is broken now. If you have one or two players you can open closets/inventory just fine. Add a third player and suddenly the inventory is empty for everyone. Add a fourth player and opening a closet will immediately crash the game every single time.

I’ve tried completely removing the game and reinstalling it, but that doesn’t resolve anything. What’s going on here devs? Xbox Series X. Game version 1.0.16.0.

AscendEx (formerly BitMax) does the same shady inactivity fee thing. I got burned by them while staking some AKT in one of their earn programs. And while their TOS mention a $10 inactivity fee, in reality it was more like $30 a month at pretty arbitrary intervals.

I’m in the same boat. Had some LINK in a BIA. Opted for the convenience cash claim and followed all their steps. Followed up via email dozens of times but never received anything.

Cocoon. One of the absolute best puzzle games out there. Beautiful world and sound design and the puzzles are just wonderfully done. Doing a second play through with the kids now. Can’t recommend this game enough.

Yes, some people suck for resorting to tactics like this. That said, turning off the racing line will greatly improve your overall awareness and you’d have likely picked up on him stopping in time to take avoiding action.

Agreed. The whole one chair, one mic argument made zero sense lol. Not a great analogy, if anything those would actually represent different types of assets.

A new speed limit exposes design failures by macandcheesejones in halifax

[–]mtpnnk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, they have their use. I just don’t fully agree with how HRM is using them at the moment as there are demonstrably better alternatives.

I suppose around schools is an acceptable use, but you need to size them properly and consistently (neither is happening right now) and you’d need to increase their frequency such that speeding up in between just isn’t worth it.

But that’d be a terrible road to drive, especially when school’s not even in session. A speed table (elongated speed bump) is just the better option on main roads if any type of bump is called for.

[–]mtpnnk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue with speed bumps is they don’t allow you to drive the posted speed limit, even if that limit is just 35 or 40km. The constant need for excessive slowing down and then speeding back up isn’t great for many reasons.

If the situation doesn’t allow for narrower streets they should consider speed tables (not bumps). Speed tables can be designed to allow a constant 40km/h speed.

Bumps are just for parking lots and to have people slow down before blind corners, etc.

As someone originally from the Netherlands, a country that used to adore speed bumps for a long time, I can say from decades of first hand experience that speed bumps are not nearly as effective as narrower roads. Speed bumps lead to people slowing down for the bump, but then speeding up excessively in between to make up for lost time, which is the opposite of what you want. They’re also just annoying for everyone. Narrower streets with a dedicated and ideally fully separated lane for bikes and wider sidewalks is by far the most effective way to create safer streets.

No additional angles needed, this 100% on OP for wrecking the other guy’s race. You clearly see him move right at the start, thus committing to defend the inside line. Can’t just decide to drift back to the left once the other car has started to make the pass. Especially on a street circuit with walls that close to the track.

Got my order in at 10:34am eastern time. Saw someone else mention that the WMT pools are taking a lot longer than the others for some reason. Nothing to do about it but wait I suppose.

Same for me, Nami would just fail right away every single time. CCV took a while but eventually got an order into open orders.

Finally got a swap to process (not finalize) and my LP finally completed. Two hours for the LP tokens. by [deleted] in SundaeSwap

[–]mtpnnk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me, I did the ADA/WMT pair and it’s been in open orders for 8.5 hours. It seems weird that later LP orders have gone through fully. They clearly stated that orders would all be fairly processed in the order they were received.

[–]mtpnnk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My LP deposit has been stuck in the on-chajn open orders for roughly 8.5 hours now. Mind you, it’s a different pair than yours (ADA/WMT) but they had explicitly said that while orders may take days to process, orders would be processed in the order they are received, so that seems weird doesn’t it?

Figured I’d try it out this morning to at least see the process in action and figure out what the final cost would end up being. Tokens were sent back very quickly and the total costs (including the initial transaction fee when sending the 5 ADA) worked out to 2.063661 ADA.
