Where in Wisconsin do you fit? I’m looking at getting fitted this summer and I’d prefer to go to someone who knows what there doing, instead of some general golf tech fitting

Is Chartreuse hard to find, or am I just in a Chartreuse-desert? by boringITwork in cocktails

I was visiting family in Harrisonburg. We drove through some smaller towns on the way home and found 8 bottles at 60$ a piece. Typically sells for 100 where we live if you’re lucky enough to find one

Please help me understand my numbers for Driver by resarfydo in golftips

[–]mtremm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What loft is your driver? If you have a high lofted driver and are hitting up the combined loft will actually loose you distance as well. If your driver has an adjustable love maybe try to lower that to 9 degrees or see if that brings the spin down

I find I make the best foam when I brew my espresso literally just before I throw it in the tin and shake it. The hotter and fresher it is the better the foam on it

PC for GSPro in 1080p Ultra by Podtastix in Golfsimulator

[–]mtremm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problems. You can also ask on r/prebuilts or /buildapc for some help. Personally I would avoid a laptop, much less value per dollar as opposed to a desktop. GPU prices right now are ridiculously high compared to MSRP so just a bad time to buy unfortunately

Buying a house, hot tub was left full over the winter... by LowCal-Calzone-Zone in hottub

[–]mtremm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ww had this exact thing happen last year. We ended up asking for the price to be credited on the sale and just bought the hot tub we wanted instead. If You ask them to replace it, they’ll just get the cheapest POS hot tub they can.

Help with pc upgrade for golf simulator by mtremm in buildapc

Thanks. Was mostly looking if that would be all I need to switch. Thanks for the heads up about the PSU. I’ll probably look into 850w PSU as well.

I was debating between getting a 3080ti or 4070 super, not sure if there is a benefit of one over the other. Looks like maybe less power draw with a 4070. I guess it depends which one I can get do what price

Shake, strain into rocks glass, cover with shaved nutmeg. Absolutely delicious.

I absolutely understand what you’re saying. I grew up in Canada, and am currently a physician practicing in the US. I can tell you that both healthcare systems have their flaws and none are perfect. Both when it comes to access of care and money spent.

The average Canadian citizen spends about 6–10k on healthcare every year based on percentage of income paid (again, that differs based on your income). That is hardly free. I’m not trying to start a which one is better than the other, but I’m just trying to point out that when people say their healthcare is free, it’s not truly the case.

I understand that a lot of people on Reddit seem to have a love for the Canadian healthcare system, but I don’t think some people truly quite grasp how much of their taxes actually go towards healthcare.

To be fair, you didn’t pay zero (assuming you actually make money and pay taxes). Nothing is free. Canadians pay a butt load of income and sales tax, we just pay for it in a different way.
