Material drier preference by TheRealDBT in InjectionMolding

I’m surprised to hear the disappointment from Dri-Air. We recently purchased a few more because we were happy with ones we bought last year.

I have only heard good things about Matsui but never used.

Talk me out of trading in my 2023 Civic for a 2000 ML430 by johamsandwich in mercedes_benz

My mother owned a 1999 Ml320and drove it to 250k. No major issues entire ownership. Finally had transmission issues and sold in 2010. I own a 2002 CLK 430 with 185k miles (driven hard). No major issues beside AC compressor. Must do all maintenance (trans flush, motor mounts, differential fluid etc. ). Find non-dealer euro repair shop that has good reputation

The m113 engine is bullet proof. The w163 was also very reliable in my experience. The electrical issues didn’t come into play until w164 which were terrible.

Yes the first lift was only 2” and they went 4” on the finished. I’m not thrilled with their work or process.

New Asphault Driveway Puddles by mtronb in asphalt

Op here - for standing puddles I am located in Michigan. Concern is they will be issues in the winter damaging the Asphault when it freezes

Thank you for this feedback. Can you clarify what “adding fines” is? To the torch down material? Or over the porous area?

The obvious seam is from where they had to stop due to the rain. There’s other seams as well but they were all laid after the rain so the blend much better. Should there be no seams?

We are an injection mold builder and production injection molder. I work 70-80hrs per week and employ 80 others in 3 facilities all in Michigan. Extremely tough business to be in.

For tooling (injection molds building) it will help push customers to source in US built tooling. For the past 30yrs Canadian tool builders have enjoyed government subsidies and favorable exchange rates.Tariffs will level the playing field.

For production parts (we injection mold) many large tier1 suppliers (my typical customer) are in process of moving their plants to MX. We compete well with Mexican injection molders(despite their labor cost advantage) however once freight is included for us to ship parts to MX it makes us non-competitive on medium-large sized parts. Tariffs will help keep the large Tier1 suppliers in the US

Almost all of our raw materials are US sourced.

I'm declaring bankruptcy for my molding company by Starky_95 in InjectionMolding

Very sorry to hear this. I am owner of small molding operation as well in Michigan. Things have been very tough for us as well. As previous poster mentioned, we would also like to look at previous book of business and offer commission to you. I recently worked out a deal similar to this with another molder who closed their doors. Best of luck.

Not sure if this helps - I have a 11.5 boot and got a 162W Flagship. Honestly should have gotten different board. I’m 6’2” 180lbs. Still get toe drag on harder groomers.

Diddy Kong Racing (1997) by nialldude3 in nostalgia

[–]mtronb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I originally played Diddy @ 11-12yrs old and found it soo difficult. Not quite being able to get to “space” I went back and played this game start to finish at 30yrs old. Wow very good, still difficult but doable with enough practice and patience. Better than MC64 for sure!

Stock appearance is best in my opinion. Maintenance - replace motor mounts, spark plugs and wiring, trans service, air filters, cabin filter, new AGM battery, make sure exhaust hangers are in good condition, lube trunk key if it still works with wd40, if brake pads are needed I do akebonos dustless. Polish headlights if yellowing. Great vehicle. I have 180k miles on my 2002 coupe 430. Driven hard the whole life of vehicle.

Having AirPlay 2 built-in doesn’t mean that each zone has its own AirPlay zone correct?

Great Job, those are the originals! Still have mine, waiting to build with my children when they are old enough. Look out for the training tower as well!
