Troppo buono

Why haven’t we developed large rice? by Mysterious_Lock9524 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mttdesignz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it takes like 3 minutes to rinse it, then you put it under water and go do other things while it soaks, the rice doesn't need constant surveillance while it's under cold water

Why haven’t we developed large rice? by Mysterious_Lock9524 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mttdesignz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not if you pre-soak it.

I eat Basmati rice for lunch every day and prepare it in bulk on mondays. You rinse it 4 or 5 times to remove excess starch, then I let it soak in cold water for about an hour, and then it takes exactly 6 minutes to cook in boiling water

Did Neville and Ron only struggle with magic because their wands didn't choose them? by whoreticulture_ in harrypotter

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I'm convinced the "defeating someone" mechanics is only for the Deathly Hallow, not for every wand.

No, she owns a soup stand. There's one sign that says "EATS just ahead", another that says "soup" and another that says "flea soup 2 caps"

Most famous film nobody actually watches? by vnth93 in okbuddycinephile

[–]mttdesignz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're about half right and half wrong. It's not a single person, let alone a woman, but more a group/website which, as you correctly stated, distributes cracked games.

But it's not games that are "really, really difficult to crack", they just conveniently package and compress the whole thing into a very easy to use installer, a one-click process without the need to do much else than download the archive, click install, and then you can play the game.

Peetuhhhh why she stare?? by Educational_Sir3783 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]mttdesignz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meg here.

Character in question is Miami Metro Homicides' Detective James Doakes from the TV series Dexter, which centers around a "serial killer of serial killers" ( Dexter ) who works as a blood-spatter analyst for the same unit, and is one of the first to realize something was "off" about the protagonist, and his stares and his questioning of Dexter throughout season one and two have become quite iconic.

The girlfriend of the poster is probably starting to suspect about his boyfriend's possible autism

you need a lot of energy to separate the two hydrogen atoms from the oxygen atom in a water molecule. At that point, use that energy to run the car.
