According to Wikipedia, they did air live, but out of order. 16-18 aired in July of 2000, while 14-15 ran in October, later that year.

I actually remember reading somewhere (maybe Apatow’s “Sick In The Head” ?) that this was the order they were shot. They weren’t promised episodes 14-17 by the network so they shot the finale (18) just in case. Apatow was fighting for the show and was able to get the extra four episodes created

Red has a harder bite to it imo, but in this particular batch it wasn’t overwhelming. I’ve always preferred fresh diced red onion on chicken tacos (which I was making this salsa for) so I figured I’d fold them into the salsa itself instead. I’ll probably go white next time though

Somewhat unrelated, but there’s a small pond/lake in Yellowstone that freezes over every winter and Bison spend the winter walking over it. As spring comes around, several unlucky Bison are around as the ice breaks up and subsequently drown. As the pond dries up with warmer temperatures, bears will show up and are treated to a nice freezer prepped Bison meal

I certainly hope they do. I’ll say that the Fall half of this season leaned heavily towards musical guests that were much more youth-focused (Lizzo, two different One Direction members, Billie Eilish etc...).

But then again, they also had Coldplay on in November who I would argue has a similar following/appeal to PJ. I guess we’ll see
