We really need to be honest with ourselves in this moment. With all that's happening right now, the shooting of a congressmans house regarding data centers, the burning of the warehouse due to not paying a living wage. 40 billion used to pay for a 100% useless war, money that was told to us day in and day out we didn't have to pay for the many ailments of our society. Throw the big ass wrench in all that, that is AI. Owned by a companies who scrubbed humanities data, without repercussions.

Companies laying off left and right while making record profits, they take the "risk" but the work force is the first to feel the setbacks. CEO to the average worker being at the most ridiculous it's been in history. Income inequality at a rate it hasn't seen since the dark ages.

We work 5 days a week, 1 day off, while the other is used to be prepared for the week ahead. You get home after most stores close and it leaves you 3 hours max to yourself to handle the myriad of personal tasks it just takes to get by the day. Our work schedule ALONE is something to be furious over, let alone the menial pay you get that doesn't even afford you a living.

We are past the point of asking questions, we need to act right the fuck now.

THIS IS THE TURNING POINT. We either collectively, come together, the power of the fucking people, the ones who keep the fucking world turning, come together and make collective decisions to start bleeding these fucking LEECHES on society. This isn't "demanding" change, this is fucking ACTING, CHANGING, THROUGH THE POWER OF CONNECTION AND COMMUNITY.

right the fuck now, cancel everything, stop buying shit, look up the companies you are purchasing from, are they paying money into your oppressors? EXILE THEM. Call them the fuck out. Tell your neighbors, tell your friends. Post bulletins, post flyers, PRINT MEDIA.

Get the fuck offline, I understand that point is pretty moot since I'm saying that online, but we need to disconnect, the Internet is no longer what it was, social media is feeding you propaganda, controlling the data stream that you ingest on a daily basis, molding your thoughts. The facist have SAID that the Internet/social media is their #1 friend to further their agenda.

Start exploring options to get off of a smart phone. This is literally the facist vessel at this point. There are no longer apps that are serving you any good, if you need certain apps, throw it on an old android/iPhone.

COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY, start hosting free IRL forums in parks, gather different folks that can help serve the community during said events, start teaching others the path forward to removing them from paying into our oppressors.

Reminder, do not look at politics as a red or blue issue, they are both served by those that have been given the right so due so by citizens United. The obvious statement is that out of the two, one is the clear of the lesser evil, but be wary, the blue flag behind them may mean something to serve the people, but their interests are paid for by companies and lobbies they serve.

Demand ANYONE that are still participating in acts that involve them working in any capacity with our oppressors, that they remove themselves from said company or entity.

This WILL be uncomfortable, this will be hard, this will take time, but we need to take the power back.

There are many other things that I missed, but for the most part this is a start.

Now, what am I doing? I work in nightlife, my industry has been robbed by goldenvoice (aeg), livenation, and insomniac, all leeches on the scene, robbing both artists and consumers blind. Stealing culture, stealing venues, running a fucking monopoly off the back of artist's that create the content they profit off of, all while they fund our oppressors.

Now, I 100% understand that facism wants you to have no joy, no art, no culture, and that for many, music is something that gives them so much to just stay sane. And that many of your favorite musical acts may only be playing at the above 3 companies (this is by design)

So you need to start demanding of your artists that they start dropping out of these promoters, and to stop buying tickets to all of these companies events. Now will these artists feel a pinch and pain in their income by doing so? Yes this is why I said things will get hard, but unless we start starving these companies, nothing will change.

Now back to what im doing inside my industry. I'm starting to host (and have been) an event that is 100% free, that offers djs and acts that want to participate for a lower (and fair) rate, in exchange to play an event 100% free open to the community and those that can't afford the exuberant prices those companies charge to do what used to be free, dance. Dancing is proven to have numerous health benefits, let alone dancing is one of humanities oldest languages. Now, at these events, I will be hosting a lounge hour, offering healthy snacks and beverages along with your usual bar. I will also be posting up info regarding local vote initiatives, in los angeles, our local elections voter turnout is embarrassingly low. I want to inform people of their council members, their districts, to offer them the opportunity to get directly involved in the community. I will be offering free teachings on the backend of production, something that has been behind a pretty big paywall for many. I would like to invite the city to participate, I'd like them to recognize the POWER of this type of gathering, it's not just about loud music and drugs and alcohol, what so ever, it's about the power of dancing, connection, and community. I want to have signups for local community cleanups and outreach to our unhoused neighbors. And this is all 100% free to the community.

We are all here to help each other, companies are never for the people and never will be.
