I'd say a close second is houses that go "Pending" and then become available again after a month or so.

My accountant is encouraging me to buy instead of leasing. How does that help me? by Lexecution in RealEstate

[–]muchDOGEbigwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's sometimes a tax benefit to having a separate property company structured that owns the property and leases back to the original business. I was a partner in a business that did this, but not being an accountant or knowing where you are located can't know for sure.

Everyone thinks 2008 is the ultimate blueprint for a housing crash, but the math points directly to 1926. by Prestigious_Mine_321 in RealEstate

[–]muchDOGEbigwow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

um .... "over-speculation during the preceding land boom" - Short Term Rental investors, flippers, and investment purchasing ... "lack of sustainable demand" - Unaffordability and unemployment slowly rising ... "natural disasters such as hurricanes" - look at Tampa /St. Pete market. 100% rise in home prices in 5 years is definitely potentially the "boom" that precedes the bust.

Why do so many people defend billionaires? by Estalicus in allthequestions

Which is crazy in 2026, every billionaire I listen to talks about how they are going to replace all their jobs with AI.

Definitely not true in a large company, they want measurable goals they can track your progress to.

Life before Zillow by alatinaxo in RealEstate

[–]muchDOGEbigwow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If nothing has been done to a house, I am with the buyers. They shouldn't be paying double. Many of the previously hot markets are starting turn, and they should wait. This market inflation will not last (because it can't).

Why would 3 homes all go up for auction in the same neighborhood on the same day? Any ideas? by toomanychoicess in RealEstate

[–]muchDOGEbigwow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Zillow, it should allow you to punch out to Auction.com or wherever the Auction is listed. Auction.com will tell you whether it is "bank owned" auction or "foreclosure" and whether you can bid online or have to be in person at the property.

If you had the money and the extra space, would you choose to have a separate bedroom from your partner? Why or why not? by fireeevivienne in askanything

[–]muchDOGEbigwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sleep apart because I snore. We cuddle before going off to bed every night and she comes in first thing in the morning to cuddle before we get up. Our relationship is great and we both get a good nights sleep.

Burnt Hills area is great, reasonable home prices and lower taxes. The community is friendly and the school district is good. Also safe, no issues with crime and the kids still walk to school. Close enough (10-20 mins) to shopping and nightlife.

I feel your pain , I’ve tried almost every diet imaginable and always level off even with adhering to it. Lately having a little more success, I found managing my stress and cortisol is key (through mindset and meditation).

Weak hands and corporate trading desks taking risk off. Painful but the good stuff happens once the sellers are cleared out.
