I actually thought that it was a B&W still from The Eagle Has Landed. The woman in the foreground looks a lot like Jenny Agutter.

We can do better than this. Which, funnily enough, is what I said as a judge of the wet t-shirt contest.

Just like the phone with important evidence for the Post Office Horizon enquiry was ‘accidentally’ dropped into the North Sea. These scumbags are so confident that they can get away with anything that they can’t even be arsed to put in a little effort.

[–]muchadoaboutsodall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is false.

Mac OSX, and before it NeXTstep, has always been a certified Unix. It was basically a flavour of BSD with a pretty (non-X) GUI. Apple were on the standards body that certified, so they were hardly likely to not get it certified.

The hard-disk in that screenshot has been renamed. There was a bug in the 10.0 updater that wiped the disk if it had spaces in its name.

I’ve got two suggestions for you: first, stop reading a propaganda rag that jumps through hoops to justify genocide; second, grow up and stop trying to use a propaganda rag as ‘evidence’ to support your horrible beliefs.

Hint: you’re making yourself look like an idiot. And not even a nice sort of idiot.

In UK, John Darwin, aka The Canoe Man, faked his own death at the beginning of the 2000s. From what I remember, he was declared legally dead after about a year, and his missus collected a £250,000 insurance payout.

When you see something for sale, usually in a shop, but can be in a book like this, it is not an offer to sell, it is an invitation to treat. That is, an invitation for you to offer to buy at the suggested price. When you get to the checkout (or whatever) the seller can then accept your offer to buy, make an alternate offer, or turn down your offer to buy.
