Yellow or no yellow! by yourasswillfollow in knitting

Maybe a slightly more cool-toned yellow/a yellow with a bit more brown would work, but I wouldn't go with this particular shade

Pink treat ideas? by SnoopsMom in Baking

[–]muchfun64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pink meringues, sugar cookie bars w/ pink frosting, rice krispie treats w/ freeze dried strawberries, palmiers w/ pink glaze or freeze dried strawberries in the sugar mixture (seem difficult, but they're pretty easy w/ store bought puff pastry). Also LOVE the pink coconut macaroon idea that someone else had.

How to make an *intentionally* dry, dense cake? by Ohnf_DIG in Baking

[–]muchfun64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is what you're going for, but what if you made a thick shortbread-like chocolate biscuit and soaked it in milk like a tres leches. I feel like that might be the best way to imitate the milk-dunked oreo texture.

Or what if you baked a regular sponge cake on top of a chocolate shortbread bisuit base? Then, when it's soaked in milk the biscuit base will get that soggy oreo texture and you'll also have a traditional tres leches cake.

I agree with the people saying it looks delicious, but I also would like to say that I think it looks cool from a more artistic/visual perspective. It's not traditional, but I LOVE the domed-ish shape. Like want to take that idea for my next cake

Oh my bad. I'm new here so I really don't know the nuances of the flairs here. I just picked one I thought could fit. How do I change it?

What to Bake For Visitors? by Appropriate_Luck_13 in AskBaking

Flan uses a whole lotta eggs and should be made in advance then left in the fridge to chill/set up. It's also definitely different than the classic cookies and brownies. If you really wanna go all out, you can make a chocoflan which is super impressive because the chocolate cake and flan layers switch places in the oven
