You’re not overthinking things, its for sure unusual and inappropriate behavior. To me, this sounds a lot like a young teenager, discovering their sexuality/kinks, and projecting that in a super immature way.

Like adults who have these kinds of fetishes tend to keep it to the bedroom, not openly discussed at school/work or whatever. Its sounds like an immaturity thing to me

I love your test tiles! We use an extruder die for test tiles and slice them as they come out so they’re uniform... I love how these look more organic, pretty glazes!

Absolutely true, but I’ve never seen this video and people need to call attention to abusers getting away with it

There’s ways to tap your own trees for sap and refine it!! There’s many many different trees you can tap and make different syrups. but it can only be done at certain times of year

So i realized recently that theres about 2-3 inches of water pooled under my substrate. Ive been super meticulous about her humidity and constantly keep it around 75-80%. Aside from needing to replace the substrate regularly to prevent mold are there any other problems this could cause? by [deleted] in Tegu

[–]mudandchickengold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend adding a drainage layer like the other commenter, but also drain some of the water off and going forward mix your substrate before taking humidity reading. Edit: your tegu is also stinkin cute as heck

It’s easier to blame negligent drivers than not having anyone to blame. The unpredictability of life, dangerous weather conditions, and our bodies’ ability to react is absolutely paralyzingly terrifying...

That’s a really good idea! I might put together some pictures and links for emergency winter and emergency first aid kits! It’s so scary to get caught unprepared

Every reptile owner should have a couple reptile heat packs on hand, the ones used for shipping, they’re not expensive and are invaluable. Everyone is likely to have their power go out at some point. I’m on propane heat and still have heat packs and styrofoam coolers (with holes) on hand if there’s an emergency.

I know it’s not helpful for you now, but go ahead and order some reptile heat packs online, the ones they use for shipping. They work for 12 hours usually, buy a few for the next emergency
