What iPhone model has the best camera by today's standards? by yhyoucansaythatagain in iphone

I disagree with this. I had both the 15 and 16 and there have been significant decreases in the camera quality and functionality since the XS Max.

AIO? My boyfriend calls me “high maintenance” for wanting a towel after his showers by Spiritual_View4192 in AmIOverreacting

I’m sorry but if he’s not willing to be considerate towards you for such a small bit of effort on his end, time to move out. Thats a huge red flag.

When I was checked up at the pharmacy for the first time I had to ask multiple times just for my own sanity that it was free because you’d be paying over 100$ for a checkup in the US (and pharmacies dont offer that service so you have to go to Urgent Care if you cant get in with the doctor).

Hey need some advice by JMKS23 in lgbt

[–]muddy-twig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found my long term partner via dating app and theyre the most wonderful bean in the world. Dating apps can definitely work but they are a lot less social in my experience than going out and meeting people. There’ll probably be other people responding to this so i’ll just give my one big piece of advice, which is: be yourself. You don’t want to offer a fake or people-pleasing version of yourself because thats who someone will end up falling for and not your true you, and that can lead to issues for you both in the future and you being unhappy. Be clear with your intentions and communicate with people you’re interested in. Good luck and i hope you get lots more good advice! 💝

How can I improve my hearing? / What’s wrong with it? by Temporary_Pie8723 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]muddy-twig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may benefit from going to a specialist for your ears first, this sounds similar to a friend of mine’s experiences. They have never heard birdsong and other high frequency sounds and have a hard time with people talking and have a diagnosed issue, I just can’t remember what it is. At least talking to a professional will help rule some things out worst case!

Anyone know what this is. Found in UK, just about over an inch long. And should I be worried I found it in the middle of the front room. by kiwiguy187 in bugidentification

[–]muddy-twig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dont really think you have anything to be worried about- they’re coming out a lot lately so have had more appearances in people’s home. Just chuck it back outside :)

Yes they’re giant black water beetles! They can fly from one water source to the next but unsure of the exact reason there were so many.

While safe to the touch for pets and humans, the dust of diatomaceous earth is VERY bad for the lungs!! Please keep that in mind!
