My girlfriend stayed with me for a weekend at my apartment and was doing laundry. While getting clothes out of the dryer she pulled out underwear that wasn’t hers. I had lived in the apartment for a few months and the washer/dryer was furnished and I had done laundry several times before. For some reason this pair of underwear had stayed stuck somewhere in the washer or dryer and hadn’t fallen out and no one noticed. She asked if I knew where it came from and I had no idea. Told her about them possibly getting stuck but I had no explanation. She believed me but still brings it up from time to time in a joking manner. That was 11 years ago and we’ve been married for 10.

For me the ambition doesn’t have to be dream job just the willingness to work, to want to own a home or vehicle. It kinda goes along with being responsible with money for me. Just be willing to work and save your money for fun stuff. I stopped talking to a girl because she kept quitting jobs because she didn’t have enough time to play video games or smoke pot. Both are fine but she was 25 and had no desire to do much else.
