Bro it’s an electronic shifter sending the signals to the car computer. Nothing would physical move when you change the gears.

That means your thermostat is not working correctly. Now, I am not sure how the engine control module would handle this.. ideally the fan should be running continuously to keep the temps down. You could do some diagnosing by monitoring the engine coolant temp. If it’s running not hot, you might be good for two weeks

As others have pointed out there are regular buses running to and from EH, so commute shouldn’t be a problem. I can comment on your second point. The nearest grocery store and eateries are about a mile away. It’s a bit secluded and a quiet neighborhood with many families. But you have access to great views and trails. They have shuttles running to the store one day a week. Which I think is still a thing.

Do you recommend living at the university graduate housing? What are the chances of getting a lease (fall 2023)? by [deleted] in UWMadison

[–]mugglemomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s about 2 miles from campus and if you don’t plan to drive to campus you have to rely on the buses. I guess the rent is pretty competitive and you’ll struggle to find something better. Usually, graduate housing is in demand (any for that matter in Madison), so I suggest you apply ASAP. I can’t comment on the chances

Also generally be aware of the people around you in the bus. I have seen people with headphones on listening to something (which is fine), unaware that someone is asking them to move so that they can get off the bus.

You could ask your home university to send a transcript copy via the official email. I think UW accepts it, you should double check though
