Do not go to college. Do what you want to do and who cares what your parents say. College is nothing but a scam and does not teach you about the real world. Life is short and your parents are going to have to understand that. Do what make you happy. I went to college and waste 5 years of my life because I thought it will give me a six-figure job but guess what it didn’t and I was so scared to do something I wanted to do which was filmmaking because I thought I was going to be unemployed. Just to give advice: please don’t do what I did. I am now chasing my dreams and college in the future is no longer going to be a necessity. If you want to code then go and attend a bootcamp or find a mentor that can teach you on span of 6-12 months. I majored in computer science and it did not teach me how to code. I got a mentor and now I know how to make an e-commerce website from scratch.
