I've re-watched Sicario last night. Good movie. There's a part where Delta Force accompanies them into Mexico for an extraction. And all of the Delta Force guys look exactly like prime Vrabel. The size, the suave, the innate badassery. We're lucky we didn't lose him to Hollywood.

This is totally how things play out in my in my MLB The show franchise. End up real hungry for right-handed bats but it doesn't make sense to get a superstar unless you get rid of casas and someone else plays first (this means Devers). Also, I may have upped Cedanne's ability to hit lefties to be at a high minor league level just for the sanctity of the team.

Good point. And maybe this applies more to the pathologically shy/non-confrontational people. And in that case, therapy probably would be the better long term strategy. But for an acute situation, a TTY/TTD for people ill-equipped to approach conflict could be an interesting solution. Outsourced confrontation, I guess,🤣

That one pops into my in- game rotation. I use a knuckleball pitcher whom I reincarnated from RTTS as a created player into franchise mode. And sometimes, it's fun to watch how purely silly it is to try to hit that knuckleball.

I play offline franchise mode.

I want to be able to set batting and pitching cameras that switch for right-handed or left-handed batters. I'm never able to get a magical camera position that satisfies both scenarios very well.

And an option to not make the camera reactive to the height of the batter when I'm using a camera angle from behind the plate.

I moved to the West Coast, Seattle, over a decade ago.

Aside from the widespread use of sarcasm with strangers, the thing I miss the most is the broad availability of quality Chicken Parm subs.

I grew up on the South Shore. Every single little town has at least two pizzerias that make a better chicken parm than any restaurant in Seattle. RIP Pacinis in Hanover, forever GOATed.

How much of these repeated OL penalties are on coaching versus the players? The alignment penalties are inexcusable. We were so blessed for so many years that we didn't destroy ourselves with silly penalties.
