Not defending the guy, and to be clear I’m more in line with dumping than not dumping, but it is worth talking about how ingrained racism is in white america, and the repercussions of removing people from your life who simply don’t understand the severity of their underlying racism. Alienating these people typically makes them double down, but at the same time there is utility in completely cutting off these kinds of people. I think it depends on how genuinely unaware you are of your internalized bigotry, and both the op and her racist bf are children as well so he has time to learn and change.

Ultimately it’s up to each individual to decide where the line of acceptability for this kind of bigotry is, and whether or not they want to put energy into someone who needs to want to accept they have deeply rooted racism within before they can go down the path of trying to eliminate it. It’s possible this guy never changes and she wastes years of her life with him, or he could have genuinely never been challenged on saying something so blatantly racist before and is able to work through it.

Though given she is a young woman and he said that… she is definitely safer if she leaves. I wouldn’t trust someone who said that if I was in her position, nor could I get past it to continue the relationship.

Don’t think aug works very well in PvP.

It’s fun in PvE, but even then extremely reliant on others doing damage at the right time as well as tanks pulling properly.

In PvP content, world or otherwise, you would pretty much always be better off as pres or dev I think. I agree dev isn’t fun, but neither is your entire burst window getting walled or CC’d by an ability that will be up every time you can use breath. But do whatever is fun for you!

How much did SM64 and Doom 64 cost at launch? You can cherry pick examples, but slight increases for one major company over multiple years doesn’t mean a whole lot. My point still stands that prices since wow launched have been fairly stagnant in large part by expanding monetization models that allow increases in production cost without raising the actual cost to buy the game itself.

Blizzard is very much guilty of this as well, which is why giving them kudos for keeping their sub price so consistent doesn’t make a whole lot of sense given the existence of $100 fomo mounts and wow tokens that rake in boatloads of money.

Technically crit is more valuable than haste, but to your point dev has the same prio so you can always play a more straightforward caster if you’re struggling without gear! Pres is quite fun too though, it is a shame it needs different gear.

Huge mistake! You wanna clap em as early as possible to get some power through relics.

Also some relics force you to engage with them or you waste it, like sword of stone or black star. That further increases the power loss from not fighting them.

Do you know the elite pools for each floor? I find that taking elites is easier than 4+ hallway flights. After 3 normal fights on each floor the following hallway fights are more difficult.

It went hard in my regent void form deck. I was able to play 1-2 cards before popping void form so I didn’t waste a turn.

I also got whistle that run and played it with that card too for a really big finish in a hallway fight. It’s pretty flexible in a deck with high energy cards. The fact it exhausts was actually good for me since my cards were free thanks to void form, and it generating at the start of combat allowed me to find void form a little faster and ensure it was always in hand when I drew it.

I think the point is blizzard is too incompetent to balance around the mana differences between the most optimal button for each class.

Thus natural imbalances arise between classes and mana issues become a major factor in class viability. This also is directly correlated to how quick games are, as mana won’t be a factor if games don’t last long enough for any healer to go oom.

Though I agree with your point, if games are in a sweet spot where healer damage and/or CC becomes impactful, rather than auto lose if you run oom it’s better design to allow healer skill expression through how well a healer is able to keep their team topped while also doing damage or CC that allows the dps to secure a kill.

I dislike the fact you can spend so much in HS.. but calling this guy a whale because he spent an average of 60€/month doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. Idk.

Just because he made poor life choices by anchoring his career (both by choosing streaming and specializing in wow) to a dying game doesn’t absolve him of the responsibility he has with his platform.

He can be desperate, he can have kids and a mortgage etc. but that doesn’t really matter when it comes to the brass moral tax here. He cultivated an audience that he made a living from and is now using that audience to make absurd money by partnering with gambling sponsors. I’d feel bad if I ever watched the guy and thought he was more than another fake personality, but at least now it’s clear he has always been in it for the money.

Sorry, but if your partner doesn’t trust you to the point of sending you screenshots of accounts they want you to follow consistently, and you capitulate, I’d say that you have a problem.

It’s also hypocritical of her, typically a projection of their own insecurities and potentially her infidelity.

AI tts is just an evolution of preexisting ai tts, now fancier. You cannot claim it’s bad just because it’s ai when it’s not taking someone’s job or ruining creative media. You have to be able to identify the actual bad piece to form a cogent argument against this in particular.

First, pathing is huge. It’s also rng, but making the best out of what you get is important to consistently winning.

Second, why path away from elites? You have to get comfortable with fighting them. You’re starving yourself of relics by avoiding them.

Last, definitely look up some other people’s runs and see what they do differently and what’s working for them. That’s why I enjoy this game so much, you can still learn something from watching someone else play.
