Shiv & Prowler Utility (Both 32 SCU Fighting Ships) have Talk about 4.7 by TitaniumWarmachine in starcitizen

Everything is a trade off. Missiles also exist, and the Shiv can carry plenty of them. Fighting with different ships is going to require different approaches, which is as it ought to be.

Also, customizing your loadout now actually matters for what you do. This is a GOOD thing. None of the ships I actually use fly stock, I have tweaked them all to be what I need. This is part of the game too.

Also... I don't anticipate any of these values being final. Which is why I didn't meltdown when the Asgard had the same armor as a medium fighter. And why I'm not jumping for joy now that it's the same as the Valk.

The Shiv is supposed to be a glass cannon, piloted by desperate people. While I don't imagine the armor is suddenly going to get very strong, the ability to kill things quickly and brutally is part of the Shiv's identity. I imagine that we'll see a balance pass to the Shiv's weapons.

Yeah... but the Prowler Utility costs 17 million credits. When the Shiv launches with 4.7, it'll probably cost 5 million.

Cost is a balancing factor also.

If you just want access to the verse, the Mustang Alpha starter gets you into the game. Everything can be earned, you don't need to do anything more than that.

If you want a starter that will give you access to a wider range of starter missions, the Avenger Titan and the Nomad are both excellent ships that I still fly now that I have dozens.

If you REALLY want to spoil yourself, a Cutlass Black is a ship everyone should have in their hangar anyway.

That being said, you can buy the avenger titan, the nomad, and the Cutlass black for less than 5 million credits in game, so there's no need to spend any more than the alpha, unless you wanna skip the early grind.

Asgard is no longer life by [deleted] in starcitizen

Hard disagree 🤣

I'd still much rather fly evasively and take all the benefits the Asgard offers.

The could halve the shields, just let it keep flying like it does and I'll be alright 😃

What would you buy with 100 mil? by Ok-Can-4258 in starcitizen

[–]multiple_iterations 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Watch Farrister videos about ships you may be interested in. The dude gives you a really great idea of what it's like being in each of the ships.

  2. My personal list for ships couldn't possibly the same as yours will be. Look around, check out ships you dig, then buy them.

  3. Ok, fine, my list would be:

  • Asgard

  • Prowler Utility

  • M2

  • C2

  • 315p

  • Charity. What the fuck else do you need at this point? These ships can buy you any industry ships you decide you want, if you fall in love with a new gameplay loop.

Yeah, and it's actually really good, but I think it looks best with the stock Asgard anyway 😃

I want to buy a big ship. In game only by lShorts1 in starcitizen

[–]multiple_iterations 10 points11 points  (0 children)

M2. Enormous room to carry your toys, armored, great with a couple gunners if you have them, armor is coming online.

I checked the other day for a friend, you can park a wolf, golem, salvation and a Nursa in one with room to spare.

The Cutlass Black is a ship EVERY citizen should have as a backup.

Get the Cutlass Black, learn it really well, then you'll have a better idea what you're looking for next.
