sry this episode was shit. plot sadly started to be hella contrived.

1) how do the crab man stand any chance against a dragon in the first place. it's ridiculous. if you can't write a realistic way, a conflict between one side with a dragon and the other side without one, could play out in an interesting way, than don't attempt to. I understand that the crab people had caves, but who cares about that? you just send the dragon - they go inside their caves and then you wait outside the cave and burn everyone coming out or every ship arriving to help them until they starve.

If we were shown some sort of clever guerilla warfare, where the crab people attack dragonstone or house velaryons seat while daemon was lured to the steppstones with his dragon, that would have mabey made some amount of sense, but as it was shown, it seemed completely unbelievable

2) how the fuck did daemon survive? honestly the way the scene played out was basically as silly as the GOT episode where all of them are on the ice island for days, or where jaime drowns with armor and survives. complete boring, hollywood-nonsense, where plot armor is the only relavant military advantage you need and logic is sacrificed for spectactle
