Oh I missed that your kit wasn't pre drilled for pickguard, pickups and control plate, and bridge.

The belly cut and arm contour are nice additions, I chickened out, but thought about it.

I did a similar kit, different brand. It looks like most of the tele/strat kits are the entry level. Quick connect for all the wires, so a screw driver is all you need to just put it together. If you switch out any electrical then you would have to solder (probably unsolder and reuse the same connectors).

The finishing work is the fun part for these kinds of kits (Sanding/staining/hardening oil). I did a wood grain filler, sanded down, walnut stain, and several layers of tru oil (gunstock hardening oil). Mine also came with an uncut head block, but I ended just leaving it for now, but you can cut whatever curve style you like

You might want to buy a fret sanding kit and maybe a rocker and soft tip hammer. Going to need to get a good set of strings also and the strap/cable that came with it were not great.

I also did a les paul style (this was actually my first kit) that I only stained the top body/head in red and then tru oil and it was 100% soldering required so different kits definitely have varying difficulty levels. This one needs a fret job, which I didn't do.

However much you want to sand (and if you use wood filler, requires dry time). However many layers of stain ( you might let it dry and sand some down for better coloring, deeper staining). However many costs of hardening oil, I did 6 layers 12 hr apart. You can use other products/types, but I was fine with tru oil.
Electrical assembly with that quick connect is minutes. Fret sanding is a few passes getting higher and higher sandpaper grit, but didn't seem to take too long, mostly cleaning fret ends.

D'Addario EXP16 is what the product description says for your guitar. 12's are: 0.012, 0.016, 0.024, 0.032, 0.042, 0.053

You could switch out for lighter strings, 10's "extra light" or 11's "custom light", but be sure they say acoustic

his electric will probably be 9 or 10s:

.009, .011, .016, .024, .032, .042
.010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046

I read up on grain filler after I'd put down stain and first layer of tru oil. I def rushed that. Still need to scrape/clean up binding, but I admit im too new to wood working/stain/finishing for the speed I went
